Thier contract should be looked at by a court and deemed misleading and fraud. I was told they would not fix a tear in my couch caused by a tech repair. Rooms to go should drop this company it's ruining their reputation.4 Warranty Corporation Response

Rooms to go sells this service. Don't buy it! They won't help you. I filed a claim because I had a few stains on my new sofa (from Rooms to Go), and they said that they don't cover an accumulation of stains but just one and it depends what type of stains. Please don't use their service! It's a waste of money. I had to give at least one star in order to submit this review.4 Warranty Corporation Response

We are sorry that you had a less than desirable outcome regarding your claim.
We would like to draw your attention the Service Agreement provides coverage for Accidental chipping, gouges to wood that penetrate the finish exposing the substrate. The service agreement does not cover indentations from writing on wood surfaces, any type of surface abrasion or scratches, gouges, and scuff marks of any type that do not clearly penetrate through clear-coat finish on wood, exposing the bare wood. Unfortunately, the indentations are excluded.~Dispute Resolution Team

My name is ********************************* and I would like to start with how 4 warranty treats disabled Army veterans and how the company has done everything possible to prevent people from filing timely claim even though I filed within a month of my beverage spill and then tries to pass it off as accumulation of stain which is " not covered". How convenient. I went digging into my rooms to go document from a couch I purchased within last year. I finally found out then how to submit a claim through 4warranty. Earlier this month April 2024, My wife spilled a beverage and I have spots on a portion of the couch. I understand I am not allowed to get the couch cleaned so I grab some tissues and dab it dry as best as possible. I also have a small tear from my jeans getting caught in the fabric. Then I try to upload pictures on the website, and I kept getting error messages and being unable to upload the images. I am on hold for hours trying to get someone and they finally give me an email to submit my pictures. I work and go to school and have a family so this happens within a week time frame. So I send detailed pictures of when the stain was more fresh and visible. They stated that they needed a picture of the whole couch in order to proceed. I don't have pictures of the whole couch from when the stain was created, so I take a current one and email it back.Behold the audacity of 4warranty to tell me that this is an accumulation of stains and because of this is not covered. Won't even send someone out here to assess my claim. This is my claim number if anyone is wondering : claim number *******.4 Warranty Corporation Response

Thank you for submitting you claim via our web claim portal system. We apologize you had difficulty uploading the pictures to our system. We have confirmed with Room To Go that they have a service technician scheduled to inspect the damage of your furniture on May 13th. Once we receive the technician's formal report, we will be happy to revisit the final determination. Thank you for your understanding.Review from Jen R

DO NOT PURCHASE this c*** sold at rooms to go. Bought a reclining love seat from Rooms To Go, was sold on this extended warranty since it had a motorized recliner which I know are pricey to replace. As predicted, BOTH broke in a matter of 1 year. Got the first side replaced within about 3 months of originally placing a warranty ticket. Within month the second side broke. FIRST they ordered the wrong part which took about 2 months to replace, which they forgot to reorder in the first place. After receiving the part called Rooms To Go it schedule a tech to come and replace it. 1st call got canceled "tech is sick", 2nd call got canceled "tech is sick" 3rd call tech was out on a scheduled route, completed a few calls and apparently "got sick again". Called RTG they told me sorry we don't have another tech for your area, I live in ***** so they have 1 TECH FOR THE WHOLE CITY of 6.4 million people. Was done with RTG called Fortegra to ask for an alternative, was told "sorry there is nothing we can do you have to deal with rooms to go directly". It has been 5 months since I placed a warranty call and my loveseat is still broken with no solution in site.4 Warranty Corporation Response

We see that you called again on November 17, 2023, to report another claim and on the same day our representative sent the work order authorization to Rooms to Go for the inspection of the damage. Subsequently on November 29, 2023, that repair was also authorized by our company. We did not get any additional calls from you until March 15, 2024.We sincerely apologize that your experience with your claim was less than desirable. We will share your experience with Rooms To Go in hopes of improving future customer experiences.

Absolute GARBAGE. I purchased a sectional from rooms to go and was sold the warranty that covers everything, even accidental WHAT A FREAKING JOKE! I have some tears in my lounge that when I made the claim I supplied pictures. I can only get certain pictures without it damaging my couch more. All they focused on was the pulling in the picture. *** told them multiple times my claim isnt for the pilling. I could care less about that, I just want my couch repaired under the warranty terms THAT I PURCHASED. Instead they ask how they happened I said Im not sure whether it was my dogs, my husband or who knows but theyre there. And all I get is we dont cover pilling or fraying check your warranty c*** ************ is a complete scam. ********************* or your time.Review from Carl E E

In Mid December 2022, I cancelled a paid in full Home Warranty Service agreement, because of dissatisfaction of service. The Contract number was with an expiration date of 2/13/2024. The agreement covered property address Easy Street in ***********, *****. The service representative informed me that a refund would be returned to me in 6-8 weeks. The first week of February 2023, I contacted a representative (******) on at requesting the status of my refund. He claimed the finance department informed him my request was being handled as a priority request and would be received in 6-8 week. I demanded to speak to a supervisor and ****** refused by telling me no supervisor was available. I request that a supervisor returned my call. To date that has not happened. I called ****** again on March 3, 2023 at 9:00 am CST., requesting the status of my refund and informed him that we were on a recorded line. He informed me that all refunds would be made in 6-8 weeks. I told him that was unacceptable and again demanded to speak to a supervisor. Again he refused telling me no supervisors was available and he was doing all that could be done. I ask him if he was refusing to pass me along to a supervisor, he refused to answer, but refuse to satisfy me by getting a supervisor on the line. Behavior such as this is not a positive reflection on any service company. Everyone has a supervisor and his failure to positively represent this company is prime example of why I cancelled my affiliation with 4 Warranty Corporation. I am requesting a full refund immediately and action should be taken to properly train customer service representatives in how to interact with customers, to prevent toxic interactions.Review from Christina D

They provide zero service and scam Rooms to Go customers with useless warranties. There is zero point in buying the warranty with them since they don't offer anything. I bought a couch in 2021 and it is already damaged just from everyday handling and rearranging furniture. They are offering nothing to replace it despite it being within the contract period and it was damaged for legitimate reasons.Review from Patrick D.

I had a vehicle warranty through Fortegra when I bought my truck from a Chevrolet dealer. It was part of the package of buying their vehicle. Fortegra clearly forged my contract. When I sent a claim in, they told me that it was required to change the oil every 7,500 miles. They sent me a copy of my contract with my info and date of signatures, but no actual signatures on the document, reflecting 7,500 miles in the write up. I sent them my actual contract with wet signatures saying 10,000 miles. They responded that “it does look like you have a different contract than what is in the system”. They didn’t accept my claim for a different valid reason, but the fact that they tried to screw me over by clearly forging my contract is unacceptable. Do not do business with this company!Review from Victorya

THIS COMPANY IS A ZERO!ALSO DOING BUSINESS AS FORTEGRA. SCAMED MY 87 year old Mother in law into buying a useless home warranty. Mislead her, telling her they had repair technician to call upon in her area only to find out she had to pay everything up front including an $18,200 Air conditioner which they declined to reimburse her for. THIS COMPANY IS CRIMINAL. Shes on social security and may never get her money back. I have filed a complaint with the ************************ and sent it to TV stations.
