We signed an agreement to have a bathroom tub replaced and a roof extension done on our existing screened enclosure on November 10, 2023. The bathroom was to be done between Thanksgiving and Christmas of ****************************************** January of 2024. We provided a deposit of $11,000 dollars on 11/10/2023 which was 1/2 of the total price of $22,000. The bathroom project was continuously delayed but finally completed by a sub-contractor on 2/8/2023 at the agreed cost of $4,500, which leaves a deposit of $6,500 for the roof project. After months of excuses, delays, incorrect permit filings, not showing up when scheduled, we came to a mutual agreement to terminate the contract as the contractor was not able to do the work in a timely manner as presented during the sales process. In accordance with the contract, CG Consulting and Design has 30 days to return my deposit of $6,500. It's now been 45 days and I keep being told it was mailed, then I was told they reissued it, bottom line I still do not have the deposit refund. I believe this constitutes fraud as the work was never intended to be completed and the company still has my deposit. I have documentation of every text message that demonstrates I have been repeatedly lied to regarding this project. I have tried to work through this with the company and have been more than patient. The company appears unwilling to address this issue within the terms of the contract.Customer response

After additional discussions with the company, I have been assured the deposit has been sent and will receive it by Friday. So at this time I would like to withdraw my complaint and allow the company to resolve this issue. Thank You
