I recently attempted to rent a suite from ****** ******* She was given a week rent of $150 and a security deposit of $220 from myself and another colleague. Neither of us received a key to the building or suite, and neither of us signed a lease. Upon the decision not to pursue in leasing the room due to Aerius attempting to raise the prices of the suites from what was agreed stating the rooms were the same size when in the video advertising the rooms it was stated two suites were considerably smaller. Aerius stated the deposit was not refundable as stated in the renters application that was never signed. However she then refunded my colleague and not myself.Business response

On April 1, 2022, the customer, ** ****** ****** received A full refund in the amount of $220 for the security deposit per her request via text. The customer received the refund via cash app. The price of the suite was never increased. Prices were never discussed until she paid for the first weeks rent which was $150.00 along with the security deposit on March 19th. She got a tour of the shop and saw the room that was for $150 before paying and decided that she wanted to proceed. She was given the lease and salon agreement to look over and was told to meet at the shop on March 21 for her keys along with the signed lease. It was unfortunate due to another potential renter canceling her suite that C* ****** ***** decided to cancel her suite rental as well. The request for the full refund of the security deposit was provided therefore the complaint was respectfully resolved.
