Absolutely awesome! ***** arrived on time for the quote. Reviewed my need for a new wood ramp attached to my shed. Gave me advice as to the space under my shed, saving me $1000's!He never asked for any money upfront and gave an honest quote on materials and labor. The quote was very reasonable and we agreed on a day. He arrived on time and completed the job to my satisfaction, even going above and beyond with extra materials without charging me. I will hire him to do more work. I trust he will do the job right.Handyman's Best, Inc. Response

I highly recommend ********'s Best because their work is excellent as is their customer service. I had some recently damaged siding on my house. The original siding was installed in 2007. ***** went to 4 different retailers to find a perfect match. ***** and ******** spent almost 3 hours and the job was done. If you did not know any siding was damaged you could never tell where the correction was made. ***** came out on a Thursday to look at the project and they fixed it Monday afternoon. I will definitely call them again. They lived up to the BBB rating of A+********Handyman's Best, Inc. Response

Buyer beware On 11/12/21 we contracted with Jason ****** from Handymans Best to order and install a new (exact replacement) door that leads from our kitchen to the outside porch. After his assistant took numerous measurements and pictures we placed the order, my husband drove to the factory signed the order and paid the invoice. We received the new door on 12/09/21. There were several issues with the door: the number of bore holes, the glass and trim were incorrect. On 12/14/21 we received what we thought was the corrected door which ***** and his helper installed on 12/20/21. Relying on *****, the door install specialist, we didnt notice that this second doors bore holes were on the wrong side. Our original door opened on the right side. The new door opens on the left which makes the door open to the rear exterior wall which is 20 away from the door opening. This is extremely inconvenient. Not being professional builders, how are we supposed to catch every error. We had already spotted several mistakes the first time. At a minimum a professionals first responsibility should be to verify that the exact replacement door we wanted is in fact the exact replacement. When we questioned why he installed it that way ***** told us it was a new building code that required the left side exit. My husband contacted our county building department and learned there is no such code. At this point ***** pointed us to the verbiage on the backside of his contract that my husband signed but didnt read. It is filled with legalese removing him from having ANY RESPONSIBILITIES. Relying on his contract verbiage, ***** refused to take any responsibility. In fact, whether we paid for another exact replacement door - $1,700 or, had him do some sort of on-property retrofit, he wanted us to pay him the same labor fee we paid to have the wrong door installed. This is a buyer beware alert! Legally ***** is covered, but it is unprofessional and dishonest!Handyman's Best, Inc. Response

*****, Our company did NOT order your door. Your husband ordered the door and paid for it from a different company. That company explained the door order to him when he purchased the door, because it was a special-order door. He signed off on their paperwork for the order and paid them not us. They gave him copies of the order.The door he ordered was installed properly and to building code. You were very happy with the work, until over 2 months later.We offered to share the cost of labor, to rebuild the frame onsite for you to allow the door to swing in the opposite direction. We even went out of our way to contact the company that he bought the door from. They offered to help with the issue also. You believe, we should pay the total cost for your mistake.Our company is NOT responsible for customer ordered products, but we continued to try and help resolve the issue. You and he do not want to take any responsibility for his mistakeCustomer Response

My husbands response to the Customer Reviews coordinator's comments, Your first sentence is factually wrong ***** told us the process would be that: he (actually, he sent his helper) would take the necessary measurements and photos then call the ordering details into the manufacturer. I was then to go to the manufacturer and pay for the door which I did. Your second sentence is also not factual My understanding was that I was executing the order that ***** placed. In fact, the order was under Jasons name not mine. Not having had any part in taking the measurement or photos, I wouldnt know what ***** ordered. He is the door specialist installer not me. The manufacturer did not explain what was being ordered. He took my payment and pointed to the line on which I signed. No share of labor was offered I was told the labor charge would be the same labor as for the original install because he cant work for free. Clearly, your onerous contract tries to exempt you from any responsibility. You should note that our attorney pointed out contracts must be executed in good faith. Waivers and releases are not relevant if the contractor does not carry out the contract in good faith. This should have been a small easy project. My instructions to ***** were simple: replace the existing warped door with an exact replica. This matter is closed as far as we are concerned.
