Horrible services as they do not provide referrals as requested after spending several days searching for a reason to deny a benefit that they are getting paid to provide. Representatives regularly claim to not have any attorneys available for specific legal matters. Assigned attorneys often do not recall signing up for their service or simply do not return calls/emails. This service is a complete waste of time and money and they do not care as long as theyre getting paid to do absolutely nothing.

Review ID: ********** Member complaint stems from a legal matter for which she requested an attorneyassignment under her legal insurance plan coverage. ************************* advised ourMember Care Representative that she was on disability and had applied for a loan throughher credit union. In that application she had selected disability insurance coverage butwhen the application was processed the disability insurance was not included. She wasasked to provide us with supporting documentation to review to ensure what coveragewas available to her under her plan and to determine the best attorney option for hermatter. After reviewing the documentation provided the review committee confirmedthat the matter was not eligible for coverage because her membership in the credit unionwas specific to her employment, and that it created a conflict between U.S. Legal Servicesand the group/union which provides her plan coverage as a benefit of her employment.Her policy specifically provides as follows:2. Exclusions We will not provide legal representation for the following circumstances:H. Except as provided for in this Policy, a matter arising out of or in connection withYour employment, past or present. Includes but is not limited to disputes between Youand Your employer, You and Your fellow employees, You and Your union, You and Yourlabor/management trust fund or pension fund, workers compensation matters, andunemployment compensation matters.************************* has had several other matters created and attorney assignments underher plan since her effective date of June 1, 2019, some of which have been covered fullyby the plan and others which fall under the plans discounted rate for attorneys fees.

I'm an attorney, they reached out to ask if I'd help with a local matter, then they referred me to complete a long form and allow them to **** me for my participation. This place is a grift. Stay away.

This is an attorney that was apparently being recruited to service one of our members. He was sent an application to join the Network. A process we do for all attorneys to ensure they have to proper credentialing on file. It appears he misunderstood the process and thought that we would be billing him. There is no fee for joining the network. Once the attorney completes the application process and services the member for their legal matter USL would in turn pay for his services which is outlined in the fee schedule (also attached to the application).************************* ************** Director

If there is no fee then why do you need my billing information?

As stated above all our attorneys are credentialed that means we obtain a W9 and other pertinent information in the event a claim is submitted so that you are setup in the system and can be paid accordingly in an efficient manner.
