I had a six service contract with Weed Man and I paid them in full through my checking account. They charged me for one additional services for which I agreed to for $121.60.At the end of the service, I was not satisfied with the condition of my front and backyard. So I told them that I didn’t want to renew the service. ******* ****** told me he wanted to make it right so he said he would give me two additional treatments free. But I specifically told him I don’t want to renew the contract and not to debit my checking account for any additional services. He agreed. Now Weed Man has been harassing me for $62.00 for the service that I did not approve of any additional treatments of my yard. They keep sending me emails and letters for $62.00 and saying they are going to send me to collections. Please advise me as to what my next step should be. My original contract was for $457.45. I paid them a total of $570.05 to the best of my knowledge. If the did an additional service after I told them not to come back on my property and not to debit my account for any further services that is on them. Because i strongly told them I wasn’t going to renew my contract with them!

I retained services from this company in April 2023. I mainly hired them to treat my front lawn for some smaller weed problem areas. At the time of the conversation with the representative, she stated that due to the timing I was requesting services, the company would only be able to service my law 3 times(quarterly) the remainder of the year. I then saw in my cameras that someone came to my home. I wanted to know if my backyard had been serviced as well, so I attempted to reach the company by phone multiple times. I left messages and never received a call back. I then saw the company return to service my lawn again in May. I called to ask why they were back when they specifically told me they would only be there 3 times and they had just been there the previous month. In June, I noticed not only my front lawn was getting worse, almost my backyard is mostly dead since Weed Man provided service. I never had any issues with my backyard and now it’s mostly dying. I called and complained multiple times and finally received a call back from ******* who confirmed my backyard was green and had no issues prior to them starting service with them and that my front lawn is mostly dead, which was not the case when they started. The front lawn needs to be re-soded at this point. After a few more calls with him and his superior, I am now being told that the damage was not caused by their products and they are not necessary action in fixing the issue. They have been telling me they are applying organic products but I’ve been told the front needs to be re-soded in order to avoid HOA fines. I’ve told them I can allow them time to fix my backyard but front lawn need to be taken care asap. I now feel like I’m now just given excuses as im not hearing back from the company unless I continuously call them to follow up.

This transaction began on August 5 and was supposed to end on August 8 - notified via email. Email trail is attac**d as a pdf. This transaction is still ongoing, and I am now receiving invoices with accumulating late fees. Weed Man apparently treated t** property in Sep and Oct - without any pre-notice and neit**r my husband nor I saw t**m treating or we would have stopped t**m and now t**y want me to pay. I told t**m on August 8th, I was not doing business with t**m. I find it odd that t**y did not come to treat t** property until 9/20 after first contact was t** BEGINNING of August. It's as if t**y waited to come. Also, I had a previous property t**y treated, without notice that day or t** day before (in spite of a notation in my file that was confirmed after t** fact), in July 2022 w**n t** property was sold on 6/16. I forgot to notify t**m but t**y were supposed to call/text first because t** gates were locked and we had dogs. Unfortunately, t**y had a credit card on file that time and charged my card so I had to pay my card ($169) so t**y already ripped me off once. T**y did not have a credit card on file for this transaction so t**y are not happy, and are making my life miserable. T**re was a recent phone call that ** ********* did not inform me was being recorded so I asked him, and ** said yes. T** call had no had no recourse, once again. I sent an email after that call asking for a resolution because t**y ignored my recourse t** first time concerning t** house. I am currently in a townhouse. Please review t** attachment from t** bottom up. To date, I have received no resolution - eit**r way but I told t**m t**y better not send me to collections. T**y are bullies. T** fact that t**y came and serviced t** property without pre-notice is ridiculous. If t**y had contacted me in Sep, I would have said - I sent an email in August and cancelled t** service. Do not come. T**ir way of doing business is highly suspect. Please review and let me know your outcome.

We are not Weed Man. We are Truly Nolen Pest Control and we are not associated with Weed Man at all. The confusion is probably because we rent office space to them but again, we have no affiliation other than renting the space to them. Anthony is the manager for Weed Man and he can be contacted at [email protected]. Please contact me if you have any questions.

I am not sure how else to explain it. We are not Weed Man. We are Truly Nolen Pest Control. I attached the contact information to the manager in my first response. I can do nothing with the complaint or the customer because we are not Weed Man and have no affiliation.

I am rejecting this response because:

he gave you an email for a contact at Weedman. Can you follow-up with that info?  Also, there is an address on the invoice
