I booked a move for 11/21 for a total $421 including $128 deposit for truck. The movers moved everything over, 4 days later as I’m unpacking I realize my firestick/remotes/tv power cord has been stolen( Stolen items come to $60, Firestick $40 Remote $10 Tv power cord $10Business response

Dear Madam,
We have went back and talked with our Crew who did your move that day and they are not aware of these items as these are small items that were most likely boxed up.
We also went back and checked the interior of the box of the truck when you initally contacted us via text message regarding this issue (4 days after your move) and nothing were found there either.
We understand you were upset regarding the unhooking of your Washer and dryer due to limitations on our insurance however accusing us of stealing these items are not acceptable to us.
We do not question integrity of our workers as they have proven track record with several moves performed successfully and also there were several times when something was forgotten (much higher in value compared to your lost items) in the past, they brought it to my attention and we returned it to the customer immediately. Same policy applies to damages as well as they are instructed to call me as soon as a damage occurs during the move so communication is a key element in our operations.
We have good intentions as a small local business and to show good faith we will offer you a discount on your next move to offset your stress and inconveniences you went thru with your move.

Filed a previous theft complaint last week, on 10/21 I scheduled movers to come. The move came and went and not till 4 days later I realized some stuff was missing which I specified in the previous complaint. Wasn’t until today when I was looking for my ring camera I realized that too was missing. Movers stole not only fire stick, remotes, and tv power cord, they stole my ring camera as well The movers have now stolen a total $250 worth of personal items. The owner refuses to actually take accountability for the theft committed by his employeesBusiness response

Our contract that is signed clearly states:
- NO CLAIMS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SETTLEMENT UNLESS DECLARED BELOW BEFORE TRUCK Departs for WAREHOUSE. PLEASE INSPECT YOUR FURNITURE CAREFULLY.

I/We hereby release Ati Movers, LLC for any and all liability concerning this move. Exceptions are noted above. All work has been completed. Please ask for receipt!However I still went back and discussed your concerns with team lead ******* on your move (who has been working for me the longest time) and he also assured me that there was no way these items were taken. We have never had such a complaint/ accusation for *******’s team in the past therefore we stand by our team.
We understand you were upset with washer and dryer unhook/ hook up issue during your move and I explained you the reasoning for that however my team members are honest and will not steal anything from customers. If there was any kind of questioning on my mind regarding the integrity of any team member believe me I would be the first to take action and fire them and reimburse the customer for the claim. On this case both team members are very trust worthy and reliable so no doubt in my mind.
Again to show good faith we will extend you a discount on your next moving or delivery need to offset this unpleasant encounter.

Used ATI moving services 7/1/22- 3 bedroom house. Appointment was 10am, they didn’t arrive until 11:18 am no phone call anything. Ad states assemble & disassemble furniture no extra charge - only 2 guys and they had no tools, used husband’s struggled to disassemble 3 beds- took hours, contacted owner 4:53p with concerns, only had 25 boxes, washer dryer, they left my living room tv, then advised could not assemble back the master king bed, literally got to new place - upstairs for almost 3 hours & none of the beds were done- contacted owned again as it was over 6 hours at this point, I asked initially why 3 men after seeing the two guys struggle, owner came - I recorded the video, stated he’d help them get it taken care of & give a discount and only charge me for 7 1/2 hours!! For a job that typically takes 4!! Worse part is they get the headboard up to the master bedroom- and then DO NOT assemble the bed back! Owner leaves with no words and 3 minutes later both workers get in truck & pull off/ mind you this is after I paid $750 & the owner is on video stating they’d complete the job & he’d pay turn the rest! He then gets rude because of my intellect & wording - also on video- not only that they also left my living room tv & my kid inside trampoline- did not move! They had no tools & I intend on taking legal action for false advertisement & defrauding misrepresentation as their add clearly states the services they provide! The level of disrespect & deceit is not ok! I paid for services that wasn’t rendered & im grateful to gave the videos that show the interaction and supporting evidence! I’m filing a complaint with all entities & intend on going to social media! I also asked the worker for a receipt on camera & he stated he’d get me one- left without providing that as well! Now I have to pay someone else to assemble and complete a job they were paid to do! I’m furious! I also have a text message thread and my call log as well.Business response

I apologize for starting later than planned and that issue will be addressed with the team.
For the 3 men team issue you pointed out: At time of booking we went over the details of your move over the phone and you have not provided the whole scope and size of the move correctly. This happens actually with some customers unfortunately them thinking if they minimize the stuff they have then they think it will cost them less. However that is not the case in reality, transparency was not there, we were just told a regular 3 bedroom with not a lot of stuff so the size of the team sent to you wass determined by what you tell us at that initial talk and you also agreed to a 2 men team at that point of time too.
Your move turned out to be way bigger than expected and guys worked all day under heavy rains with no breaks and even you told me on the phone they were very nice and working non stop but taking longer than you expected.
I still heard your concerns, tried to explain there is many attributes that go into a moving job and tried to calm you down over the phone saying I will give you a discount at the end. Our movers moved 3 bedrooms all to upstairs at new location and Finally they had a super large headboard (approx. over 8 ft in legnth and 5 ft in height) that needed to make a very tight quarter turn staircase going upstairs and they called me at 745pm and I volunteered to come from 40 minutes away and help with that at no charge to show my good faith to you.
When I showed up you immediately said to me you are calling your attorney setting the tone very stressful everyone involved. So I apologize if I was perceived rude but I was trying to stay firm with you when you were being difficult and not co-operating.
At the end we gave you a substantial discount. The grand total came up to $1140 for the labor charges and we only charged you $750.
Now About the tools part you are complaining, we are movers so we have very limited standard tools we bring and if anything more is needed then it is customers responsibility to provide.
So basically we assemble and disassemble to an extend. We disassembled all your stuff to the best of our abilities.
I understand moving is stressful and we did our best for you given the circumstances.
No matter how hard we try we understand it is not possible to please every single customer. We understand you are not pleased with our service but to show further good faith I will extend a discount again if you give us another chance next time you need delivery or moving services.

Regarding the wall damage you mentioned:
Our contract clearly states "By Signing Below, I accept ATI Movers, LLC's price and give permission to move my goods. I fully understand and agree that limitation of liability of ATI Movers, LLC for any lost or damaged articles during loading, transportation, unloading will not exceed sixty cents (.60) per pound article for the actual (or constructive) weight of any lost or damaged articles in the move. ATI MOVERS, LLC IS NOT LIABLE for operating condition and/or mechanical function of any operating apparatus (electrical and/or manual). ATI Movers, LLC IS NOT LIABLE for any damages, walkways, walls, staircases, doors and/or doorways, floors, and/or floor coverings of any type or composition."
Regarding the Receipt issue you mentioned:
We gave you two options to pay (CASH APP and Credit/ Debit Card) however you insisted on giving cash. Other two options we have capability of sending out an electronic receipt at time of payment however we dont with cash. To please you we accepted the cash payment although it is not a typical method of payment we accept. If you can provide your email then I can send you an official receipt, no problem!
About leaving the job site after 3 minutes issue is not true because I was there half an hour to help them out and also listen to your concerns. We have told you that extra large headboard will not make it to upstairs due to stair case angles and narrow width but you insisted and expect us to take it up so we tried our best and moved it up. At that point since you didnt want to pay for any extra time and expected us to work for free of charge putting all the beds together plus we also gave you a large discount already, we had to stop working and leave.
I have spoken with my team in detail and we have done everything to please you so we stand firm in our position and understand if you want to take legal action.
At this point we have exhausted all the options to help you out.

I am rejecting this response because: You are speaking untruth! First off I did not insist on paying cash, I offered to go
deposit & pay via card! You said you’d accept cash! You claimed you came to assist as your workers advise they needed 3 people instead of 2!! Like I advised you earlier that day! You stated you would pay the guys for the remainder of the time it takes to complete the move!! I have you on video!! Yet you left abruptly after knowingly putting holes in my wall! And your workers left a few minutes afterwards and again the job was incomplete & the bed was not reassembled! To add insult to injury- the two beds they assembled were not assembled properly & I still had to pay to get those assembled! I will see you in court! Glad I kept documentation such as videos, text and call logs! I’ll post the video showing how rude & aggressive you were!How dare you lie!! You did not keep your word & your team did a horrible job!

I contracted with ATI Movers to move my household belongings from St Johns FL to Apopka Fl 115 miles. I paid $1102.40 and would be otherwise satisfied except the movers broke the bottom door on my refrigerator trying to get it through the door. There are also several drywall chips at the apartment doorway where the movers tried to ram the fridge through the doorway. Photos of the damage fridge door and the drywall apartment doorway were sent and I have contacted the owner via txt for reimbursement; response "I could only do $100max" of which I have yet to see. To replace the bk fridge door will be $500 and the apartment damage $ 150.Business response

Ok so that is why we couldnt find you right away. We looked at contracts till September 2021 till January 2022. Didnt realize move was done in June 2021.
I am truly Sorry for the damages mentioned. Honestly there is no way we can remember a move that back but even if we did Unfortunately our contract all of our customer signs and agrees on moving day states our limitations on our services when it comes to damages. This is the standard insurance all moving companies in Fl goes under in state moves.
However I would like to extend the $100 refund you mentioned just to help out and offset some of the cost of repair/ replacement cost of the item to show our good faith and good intentions.
I will also offer a discount next time when you need our services to show that we truly care.

I am rejecting this response because: The movers ram my fridge into the doorway which was careless. This broke the door of my Samsung fridge as well as put several gashed into the drywall of the doorway. This poor judgement should be the responsibility of and bill to the careless moving company.
