They moved us from Florida to Wisconsin. The day-of estimate from him was nearly $3000 higher than we were previously quoted. We were way overcharged and I highly doubt the accuracy/legitimacy of the charges, including $1000 for packing materials!! All of our things were already packed, so this was solely for some bubble wrap & tape for the furniture padding. In hindsight, we should have picked a larger, more upfront moving company or just done the entire thing ourselves. If you do use this company, have them come out BEFORE moving day to give you a full estimate. That way you still have time to change the moving company that you use, if need be. In addition, he demanded all of the paperwork had to be signed before the information was completely filled out. Work would not be done without full payment and the forms signed. This was true both for loading & unloading. We had multiple items damaged during the move, including a piece of furniture that my husband specifically asked them not to use tape on (sure enough, the tape peeled off all of the wood finish). There is also a chair that has a huge stain & indent on it now. This was pointed out to Indrek before he left and he downplayed it (nope, it wouldn’t come out no matter what cleaning agent was used). They assembled our bed wrong and lost some of the screws – we had to take it completely apart & buy new screws to put it back together. They also damaged the walls at our new apartment – there are multiple spots that we had to patch and repaint because of scuffs, scrapes, & dents. The third party they use for their damage claims is an absolute joke as well.Initial Complaint

The driver of this company indrek stopped by late at night the night before my move after the company he drives for had already given me a quote he stops by , takes pictures and sends me a quote over 2 grand more then what I was originally quoted. He then basically refused to do the job showed up almost 12 hours later with his son, took over 4 hours to load a very small move, then refused to take the rest of my items saying I was out of cubic feet, he then increased my move an additional 2 grand and wasn't interested in doing my move unless I paid near 5 thousand for 4 pieces of furniture and 40 boxes, very easy move. I got rid of several things and still insisted on this outrageous price, he promised to be in Indiana over a week ago , he has my kids winter clothes and refuses to deliver, the company he works for won't do anything he calls and says threatening words and rude comments to me, I am tired of being harassed by this guy and his company I lost my job due to his irresponsibility I need my items at no additional charge brought to me 3 thousand was plenty for this move he wanted to charge me 500 for tape and double charge me for gas this is unacceptable he text Tonight saying he refuses to bring my things he won't let me talk to his boss but doubt he has one , he over charges and is nickel and diming everyone, someone needs to stop this man from hurting more people all his reviews say the same complaint , he screwed me out of so much money now I have paid for a storage place and nothing is here , lost my work at home job since he didn't show up til night time and get done til 11, my kids have no warm clothes here, it's been a night mare from day oneBusiness response

The driver called me to say he was unloading my items it has been past 30 days this driver and his team have been holding my things hostage after increasing the amount by 4 times the agreed priceInitial Complaint

Fair and Square Transportation was hired through Safe Ship Moving Services. ** ****, owner of Fair and Square Transportation, is an Intrestate mover from FL. who used 2 teenage boys and his 11 year old son as a crew. July 22, 2021 was the move date from Iowa. September 5 was the delivery date in Florida. ** **** lost and damaged many belongings. He sent pictures of our belongings on the outside back of his truck. He extorted money form us, lied, and was fraudulant. He disrespected women and an older individual(61). I have filed a complaint with **************** the arbitrator he hired.Business response
