  Next Level Painting and Renovations provided estimate and contract that we accepted for painting entire exterior of home and pool deck, they did not finish the job and the pool deck has to be completely redone by removing all paint and repainting, the deck paint started peeling within 2 weeks, also Next Level did not finish the trim work as agreement in contract, missed many spots on the house and trim on the roof. They spilled a lot of paint on my new pavers because lack of use of drop cloths and left overspray on a black iron gate, paint will not come off either of the surfaces. I did a walk trough on the front of house and was satisfactory except a few places he marked and never went back to, when we got to the back the helper was painting the pool deck and we could not view the final back of house, I asked helper if he fixed areas I pointed out and he said yes, he did not. We have contacted ** ******** a**ut 25 times via text, email and phone, 1 time he said he needed to make it right but never answered or showed up again, We are stuck with a major mess on our pool deck, it is also dangerous and slippery, I sought an estimate to finish work and received an estimate from Pro-Vision Painting of $1750.00 to remove peeling paint and repaint pool deck and $1500.00 to finish the trim work and fine tune paint on the house. We paid Next Level $3950.00 for this work that wasn't finished. When I first called Next Level, he answered phone right away, came out in a day and gave estimate and started work in a few days, from day 1 on the job it was clear this was not a professional painting service. I hope no one else gets taken by ** ******** like we did, he is a crook and owes us money so we can properly finish our house. This has been a nightmare and a huge disappointment because ** ******** was so deceptive and apparently made a living from cheating honest people.

  I've attached the details of this horrific dilemma, the short version of the story is that Next Level Painting and Restoration and owner *** ** ********* are going around committing construction fraud masquerading as contractors when they are not, they destroyed my house to the point where banks will not lend on it, I got a stop work notice for lack of permit, the electrical power was turned off by Duval code enforcement for a fire hazard a load bearing wall was removed weakening the roof structure, they took $41K+ from me in deposits and simply walked away after performing minor work and taking all of the appliances and leaving me with the mess.
