On October 17, 2023, my husband ***** ****** and I contracted with WaterPools of Jacksonville LLC to construct a fiberglass pool at our property. The copy of the contract is extremely hard to read unfortunately. We provided a 30% deposit (almost $15,000) on 11/3 and on 11/29 we were informed the pool was ready to be installed and we had to again provide 30% the next day when the yard would be excavated. (another $15,000.00). These cashier check copies images are attached. The yard was excavated on 11/30 and that was the LAST time we ever heard from this company. The owner is ****** ****. He has never called us or texted us during this entire process. We have called him multiple times. We have only heard from the officer manager who said in March we would have our installation of the pool and than never heard back. This company was reported on our local news station at the beginning of March by another mad homeowner who had to contract with another company to finish his pool. In Florida a project is considered ABANDONED if the contractor has not performed any work in 90 days. This has been over 120 days now and we have nothing but a HUGE hole in our backyard which is a big risk. Also the permits were never paid for according the city and therefore are not active. This man needs his license removed and we need our deposit back at the very least!

I contracted with Waterpools Jacksonville LLC in September to build my dream fiberglass pool by ******. They were a preferred builder for ****** at the time. I was told by the owner *********************, my pool build would be 90 days. Its now been over six months and my pool is still not done! ********************* has a history of abandoning jobs, not paying subcontractors and hurting hard working families! His medical excuses started soon after my pool was delivered. First he was in the hospital with kidney failure, then he couldn't walk due to knee problems. If you ****** ********************* and Waterpools Jax you will see he has a history of this for over 10 years!! I invested over $83,000 with Waterpools Jacksonville for my dream pool with screen enclosure not knowing this information. This situation has caused significant inconvenience, financial loss, and emotional distress. ********************* with Waterpools did not pay the subcontractors for my paver pool decking so I had to pay for that so no lean was placed on my property. The screen enclosure subcontractor stopped by to let me know they were not paid on a previous job so they were not doing my screen enclosure that I paid Waterpools for. My building permits were pulled by a general contractor who is no longer is associated with Waterpools Jacksonville so I believe they are working without a license! PLEASE DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY ***********************************************

I signed a contract with Waterpools in August of 2022. They began digging on January 19, ****. My pool was completed in May of ****. On May 29, **** I contacted the owner to let him know that my pool was cracked and leaking water. He did send someone out to repair but then decided he needed to order a whole new fiberglass shell. I was sent an email to pick a new model pool since he was going to use a different manufacturer. I was told the new shell would be in August 31, ****. I reached out to him several times between August 31, **** and October. On October 3, **** in a text he told me my pool would be completed by Thanksgiving or before. ******* *** **** he told me they would be there next week to start. No one came. In ******er 7, **** I sent another text asking for an update and he said someone would be there the next day. ******er 8, **** they did come and remove the old fiberglass shell out of my yard. He told me that day that my new shell would in there next week. I text him the next week with no response. I then waited until ******** *** **** to text him again no response that day or the following day. Then I sent another text on ******** ** **** and he called me to tell me that he had been lying to by time and he didn’t have the money to pay for the new shell that he had to finish some jobs. On that phone call he told me to connect with him on Tuesday of the following week. I did that and he would be getting the pool on Friday of that week. On Friday o texted him to see what time they were coming and he said they weren’t coming. He said they were shooting for the next Tuesday which was Dec***er 12. On ******** *** **** I sent 3 text messages with no response. I sent another text on ******** *** **** and he responded saying he was in the hospital. On That day he told me my pool would be there sometime during the first two weeks of January and he would get it put in right away. He says he has been in the hospital.

The company has made right and was out last week to start installing a new pool. The project is well underway and although I wish it had not taken this long, I am thankful they are making this right.

We had an unground pool installed and it was done incorrectly. The bottom of the pool is wavy. The builder only put fiberglass sheets (used on houses) on the bottom. There was no backfill and the steps are not supported.

This is un true there is 4 inch gravel base installed along with 1 inch rigid insluation board as an added layer of protection

the pool was and is back filled as should be she is watching u tube that don’t pertain to this geographic area as our soils mainly are sand

if we but block like she suggest they would even  eventually poke through her pool as has been explain to her her pool was installed correctly and passed all inspections .

       Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: the pics I posted was directly from the pool manufacturers website on how to correctly install/support steps and ledges. Waterpools would not return our calls until I threatened lawsuits and contacting the BBB. Then they responded within minutes. So, until our issue is corrected, I will not accept any response from Waterpool.

      Regards,
