I applied to a property through Suncoast Property Management that was listed at READY. Once approved late ******* *** **** I was advised I have to pay the security deposit of $***** by 3:00p February 1st which was LESS THAN 24 HOURS! I immediately made the security deposit with no issues just for the home not to be FULLY ready. Upon the walk through after the security deposit was paid I notice it was leakage in the living floor, the master room bathroom faucet top was missing AND the glass stove top had a HUGE crack through! I was given multiple move in dates just for those dates to pass us by and the repairs NEEDED for the house still wasn’t complete. I am a SINGLE mother of 3 minors! ******* ***** and ****** ***** both advised me that the stove still was still able to be used which at the point was a safety hazard and I could have electrocuted myself! March 1, **** came and still no house that was ready nor was a lease ever given to me to sign! I NEVER signed a lease and simply asked for my Security deposit to be returned MULTIPLE times because they were taking that long to fix repairs while me and my children were homeless and having to spend more money waiting on a home that was false advertised as ready to become “ready!” Upon requesting for my security deposit back they told me it was Forfeited! Extremely disappointed with this company! THEY RAPED MY CHILDREN AND I OF OUR MONEY! I don’t have an agreement with them to be able to hold on to MY MONEY and not return it!
