In November of 2023 I paid 3000$ US for the *** bootcamp. I had already purchased thier initial program un Jan 2023. I was promised personalized support from the president herself, fast tracking in the publishing business, ** software that does all the work for you, amoung other things. I was also told that i could request a full refund, no questions asked. That is actually what convinced me. BOOTCAMP does not deliver as promused, the ** is still in BETA phase and now I have requested a refund, *** will not honor the promised refund. I have been contacting them on a (almost) daily basis with slow or non existant responses. I have requested my 3000$ US downpayment and the 2000$ paid out an the payment plan for a total of 5000$ US.Business response

For our regular program, participants are eligible for a refund within six months if they have published a book. For the BootCamp, we maintain a no-refund policy, which is communicated during the enrollment process.

I am rejecting this response because:When I was contacted last Nov by ******* she informed me that I was invited to become part of the bootcamp and would get a scholarship. I first had an appointment with ****, which he totaly ghosted me for. When we finally spoke, he gave me the real details , telling me that I was privileged and I had to act fast.
When I found out how much this cost (10k) plus, I was very hesitant because I had just retired and it is alot of money. **** called me back the next day and insisted. He said I was assured success, the ** developed practically did all the work and would save money in the end. WHAT CONVINCED ME WAS THE MONEY BACK GARANTEE **** ASSURED ME APPLIED TO BOOTCAMP. He told me that I had nothing to worry about, no risk!
He also told me the payment plan would begin only the month AFTER bootcamp started, so Feb 2024. They started in Dec 2023.
I want a total refund for THE BOOTCAMP because that is what was sold to me. FPA does not respect thier engagements. I have all the texts I have already exchanged with FPA concerning this claim.

To clarify, for a refund on the regular program, our policy requires that a participant must publish a book within the first six months of enrollment. If this condition is met, we can certainly process a refund for that part of the program.

I am rejecting this response because:Although FPA claims to have a clear policy when it comes to reimbursement, I was unable to obtain a copy of it ( I requested in writing).
They can explain it a hundred times but when the bootcamp was pitched to me I was specificly told by **** that I would be refunded if I was unsatisfied. **** was his biggest sales pitch.
The truth is rhar FPA sells simething under false pretenses and does not honor what is pitched to buyers. If the empliyee lied, they must still honor his promises and adjust accordingly directly with ****.
I have already spoken with **** on several occasions ( I have all our texts) .
FPA is a dishonest company and should be labeled as such.

I am rejecting this response because:
I believe that I should be reimbursed because , as you have indicated, your refund policy was not clear and I can attest to the fact that your personel did not know this (****). If it would have been clear, right off the bat, **** would have told me so instead of looking for a way to refuse my claim. Instead, he insisted that It was important for him to know why I had 3 books written and had not published them. After getting a response, he then told me that I could not get my money bak BECAUSE of that and NOT because the refund policy was clearly stated and known. He did not Know and he actually told me the opposite to close the deal. FPA should honor it's employee's mistakes and do the honorable thing and refund me
