    Lived at ***** ******** ***** for one year lease, moved out 5/31/2023 anticipating letter regarding the $1,950 security deposit. Received move out charges from HoverGirl (after returning from out of town) 7/5/2023. Responded with questions and request for details (not paying for general cleaning/repairs when we left the house cleaner than when we moved in and unnecessary repairs taking 2/3 of the deposit. Followed up on 8/1 since no response and received pictures and additional details on 8/2. Responded to this with comments and feedback on what was acceptable on 8/16. Followed up again on 9/21 to get another letter in the mail on 9/23 with no adjustments to the concerns addressed, just threats about going to court. I am asking for $859 they overcharged for items that are not agreed upon and excessive charges for items that should be normal wear and tear or not charged at all. Details included in the word document attached. I was not able to respond within 2 weeks to the last email as I am busy with work, school and have had personal matters that were of higher priority so they just deposited the original amount in my account.

    They are scammers! They will take your entire security deposit. They are unethical and bullies. They act as if they are helping you out meanwhile they are working with the landlord to make up claims which they do not provide receipts for. That is illegal. As per florida law receipts must accompany the claim for security deposit letter. They go after you for big things like replacing the carpet and then when you push them they give you bogus receipts. They have local companies helping them to write these receipts. They help landlords scam your security to make improvements on their homes. We left the house in great condition. Even Got text confirmation from owner that all wasn't above wear and tear and then they put it in claim. As per lease we were made to have house professionally cleaned and carpet professionally cleaned. Spent close to $700 to do this DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. if you are in one of their rentals be sure to take your own before photos and email them and text. Get everything on record. they will bully you and make you feel like you wrecked the home to steal your deposit. They are taking advantage of people renting out of state. if you feel cheated please report them to the Florida Real Estate Commission and the Business and licensing dept of Fl. You can get all the info from the Florida Attorney General's office. I will be taking landlord to small claims court with all the emails, texts and video/audio evidence we have if we arent properly given back what is rightfully owed. They have some racquet going on.

    This is an unfair and unfounded complaint. Additionally it was written by someone was not actually a tenant of the home but rather a parent from out of state who never lived in the home. The young man who lived in a rental property that we managed was very hard on the home. We have been in business for 15 years and have never had a complaint before. All of our vendors are licensed and insured. We strive to broker the relationship between the tenants and the owners and gave these tenants multiple opportunities to cure the damages before retaining a portion of their deposit to cover the damages the landlord had to repair or replace.
