Contract was signed 12/6/2021 with Hammerhead Roofing to replace my home's metal fascia on the front of the home, as well as three pieces of fascia on the back of the home. As discussed with the company, this would typically be a one day job. As of the date of this complaint, very little has been accomplished concerning the originally requested work. Additionally, Hammerhead Roofing subsequently removed the metal fascia from my entire home, which has created an additional expense estimated at $1,500. I've tried to resolve this with the company's owner, ******* *******, several times, but he has refused to return my initial 50% deposit ($537.50) and has refused to pay for the additional work that is now needed due to Hammerhead Roofing's negligence.Initial Complaint

On September 14, 2021 Hammerhead Roofing staff ***** made a appointment to visit our home for a roof leak and they determine we needed to have shingles removed and repaired. We decided to proceed with getting the work done and they came by on September 15, 2021 and picked up a check or down payment for 400.00. They cashed the check the next day. During that time it rain vey hard and we had no water leaking into our home. I contacted ***** and told him it rain that day and night very hard and I didn't feel that what they wanted to fix was the problem and we were not going to pay for something that was not broken. He said he was sending a leak specialist out to our home the next day, September 17 but they never showed up. It rained again that day and night no leak. I told ***** that we decided to not have the work done and we were canceling the proposal and wanted our money back. I was told by ***** on 09/18/21 that on 09/20 he was taking the materials back so we can get our check.Initial Complaint

My laundry room roof leak was repaired on 08/31/2020 by ******* ****** from Hammerhead Roofing and Remodeling. A 3 year warranty was given for the job. Last week the roof where it was repaired started to leak when it was raining. I want the company to honor the warranty or give me a refund of $400.00 which was the cost for the repair done in 2020.Customer response
