My roof started leaking about a month ago. I have two different companies that did my roof. There is a pitched shingle roof that Ron Russell did and a flat roof that ******* Roofing did. I contacted Ron Russell to come out an inspect the leak. Ron Russell roofing came out and went on the roof but did not go into the attic. Ron Russell roofing was placing blame on ******* roofing for the leak. I then contacted ******* roofing. ******* roofing came out and actually went into the attic to determine the source of the leak. ******* roofing determined the leak was coming around a roof vent on the pitched single roof that Ron Russell roofing did. I also then had an independent roofing company ******* Roofing to come and inspect. ******* roofing also went into the attic and also said that the leak was coming from a roof vent on the pitched single roof that Ron Russell roofing did. I have since then contacted Ron Russell roofing to explain this and have them come back out but they are no longer responding to me. My roof is still under warranty and this should be fixed. It's going to rain again this weekend and I'm worried about mold and other damage being done to my drywall and attic space from all the leaking.

March 2018 RRR installed new roof on rental property, ******** ****, in Jax. November 2019 RRR installed new roof on primary residence (at the time), ***** ***** *****. 6 months later, tried selling home due to military transfer orders. Buyers home inspection came back bad. We lost the contract. Wood rot supposed to be replaced & already paid for by me, not completed, tagged by home inspector. Workmanship not great, tagged by home inspector. Called RRR to make repairs. They tried to bypass replacing wood rot & what I had already paid them for, but a week later came back to correct the problems. May 2021, tenants in ******** ****, saw paint sagging above front door & water staining at the roofline. Sent me pictures. I immediately called RRR, & forwarded pictures.RRR sent someone a week later. Claimed nails 'popped out' leaving a point of entry for water intrusion into the home. Supposedly fixed it. I asked about water damage repairs. A week later, *** came out to assess damage. Told the tenant, he would call me to let me know when they would send people to repair damage. Never heard back from Gus. April 2022, tenants moved out. Family friend went to walk property, saw several active water stains on ceiling, & possible black mold at the corner of the roof line & front wall. Called RRR again, sent pictures & email stating I wanted a new roof & all water damage replaced inside, plus black mold inspection. The owner's wife sent back email stating it was 'our fault' water damage into the home became a problem as 'we didn't notify them right away'. RRR refuses to repair or replace water damage inside the home. *** came out, claimed he couldn't find the roof leak, said he'd go up & 'add glue' to some of the front shingles to stop water from getting in. I told him not to touch the roof until we settled this. He claimed he'd come back when it rained to find the problem. Almost a month, no response from RRR. I want a full refund & all water damage replaced.

We were called out to ******** ********’ home last year for a leak.   She called in stating that her tenant was moving out and there had apparently been an on going leak that the tenant did not inform her of for months.   We went out to her home and found nothing wrong other than a few nail pops.   Nail pops occur with a house naturally expanding and contracting and a nail will back out of the plywood.   Adam our repair tech repaired this for her even though this is not a warranted item and did not charge her.   We explained that we would not be responsible for the drywall damage as 1) it was not a warranted leak and no leak was found 2) we were not notified of the leak.  She mentioned that the tenant was moving out and they were painting anyways.

We have not heard back from her until this year when she called again stating she had a leak again at the same spot. We immediately noticed she was sending the same pictures as what she sent to us a year ago.   At this point because I knew it was the same photos and not from a new leak we requested access to the home so that we could go into the attic to document the leak and any damages.   *** our vice president went himself and did not find any moisture on his moisture meter nor any leak.   He did however notice what looked like possible pitting in the shingles in that area of the roof so we made another appointment with the homeowner and the GAF factory representative.

At this appointment the representative from GAF agreed that **** ******** may have a claim against her GAF factory warranty.  While the representative was there *** again checked for moisture and they both observed no active moisture or leak and this was after several days of hard rain.   While the homeowner still insisted the roof was leaking *** told her he would spray Kilz over the stained area and it would show the next heaving rain if it were leaking.   We have not heard from her regarding any new leak.   **** from GAF did recommend adding some additional sealant at the valley area which is not the area of the concern.   We have no problem with adding more sealant if homeowner will allow.  At one point she had told our tech that she wanted no sealants she wanted the roof removed and replaced so as long as she is agreeable to the repair we will make it.

We were contacted by **** at GAF last week that **** ******** had not submitted her claim yet.   He asked for her contact info to reach out to her directly to help her with this if needed.   We cannot file a claim on her behalf but will continue to work with the homeowner and the manufacturer to assist however we can.
