Paid $29,000 for new roof in 2/2022. Recently insurance has requested a copy of the permit to renew my homeowners policy. Called Wofford roofing and on the second attempt a girl called me back and said they would email me a copy of the permit. I never got a copy of the permit, called back and found the message the number was no longer in services- checked the number, redialed and got the same message. I found a different number for Wofford Roofing but the message said the Voice Mail had not been set up yet. I called COJ and they do not see any permit had been pulled for the roof... Why??Business response

Dear BBB,
I am taking care of ********************** permit. My cell phone number changed and I was unaware that ****************** didn't have my new phone number. The phone number on my website rings to my cell phone so any customer can get a hold of me that way. The permit for ******************** roof is currently being processed. I am in communication with him daily.
Please remove the review. It was a simple communication error.

I am rejecting this response because: Yes, Wofford Roofing is working on the permitting after the fact, but no permit has been issued, nor approved nor closed. My hope is this can be closed within 14 days

Yes, Wofford roofing is meeting with the city of ************ tomorrow to complete an inspection. Response/Communication from owner, ***** Wofford, has been good, but until i have a permit this matter is not closed. Should have answers this week. Thank you for the follow up. ****

The city issued a certificate of completion so I believe the permit has been approved.
