We ordered and paid for three windows with glass and frame from Renaissance Windows and Door. One of the windows is 71 5/8 x 59 5/8 is the window with the manufacture's defect or improper manufacturing. The windows were picked up and delivered and were in working order. I placed the windows on the side of the addition for installation of windows. 1-30-2024, at or about 10:30 am, I took my daughter in law to see the windows and it was at that point I observed a crack on the (what will be the inside glass) was cracked. I called Renaissance, spoke with *******, and she transferred the call to their service department. The female took my information down said she would review our file and call us back (She never called us back). 1-31-2024 at or about 12:50 pm, I called to follow-up with my manufacture's warranty complaint. The person said that it is not their responsibility the glass used on the window cracking. The person tried to justify by saying, "We stand by our warranty, but we are not going to fix it (*****************)." This was said over my phone on speaker, my husband and daughter in-law are witness to her saying it, I know this is hearsay, yet true. Her statement was absurd and not consistent their own warranty policy -FROM THEIR WEBSITE: "RENAISSANCEs obligation under the warranty is limited to repairing or replacing, at its option, any window or door that is defective in materials or workmanship during the applicable warranty period. Notwithstanding the foregoing, RENAISSANCE, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to refund the amount paid by the original purchaser for the defective product. RENAISSANCE will only cover labor charges to repair or replace defective product for the first (1) one year from the start of the warranty period. IN NO EVENT SHALL RENAISSANCE BE LIABLE FOR LABOR CHARGES OR OTHER EXPENSES IN CONNECTION WITH REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION OF EITHER THE ORIGINAL OR REPLACEMENT PRODUCT AFTER THE FIRST ONE-YEAR PERIOD."
