  During the roof replacement of our home, the company stated that the roofing for our Florida room could be repaired by adhering a roofing tape to the seams to prevent the roof from leaking again. A separate invoice was created and agreed upon by both parties. The tape was installed, and the job seemed completed. The very first storm after, the leak continued. Each subsequent storm, the leak got worse and worse. We gave many opportunities to have this situation fixed. At this point, we're being told that it's not the company’s problem, after coming out and inspecting it themselves. It was stated that there is mold under the tape, which indicates that the job was not properly done, and the tape was not adhered properly. We have given the company more than enough time to correct the problem and demand our money back and no further attempts of having the problem repaired by this company.

  I called Mr. ********** several times this past week with no answer, I have a refund check for him.  I will mail that check this coming week.  I even went by his house and no one was home.  I would just like to say that I went several times to fix the leak on the patio.  The gutter on the patio cover was so full of leaves that water was backing up on the roof.  I told Mr. ********** that the gutters needed to be cleaned out and he did.  Well, the patio leaked again. The next time that I went on the roof, I discovered that the water caused the sticky part of the peal n stick that I had applied to the roof joints to come loose.  Which is what caused the leak.  I offered to fix the problem, but he wanted to set a date and get it done and I told him that I would call the day before that I was available, and he didn't seem to like that.  It is what it is.  I tried to fix the problem and he decided to file a complaint and ask for his money back.  I will mail the check on Monday 8-28-23.  I am sorry that I couldn't resolve your problem for you.

  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 20465878, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  Though Mr. ******* did not call but once after I filed this complaint, and never showed up at our house (phone records and home recordings can confirm this,) he did give us a refund the Wednesday after he promised refund and the check has cleared.
