      I ordered an item from a retailer listed on Amazon as a Prime vendor. The seller is listed on Amazon as Fresh-Aire UV. The item arrived at my house in an already opened and resealed box inside the shipping box. As it turns out, the item did not work. I began the return process with this retailer and secured their approval for the return as well as a return label. I took the item to the ***** as instructed, and attempted to secure postage and ship it. However, the address on the sellers label was wrong the address did not exist and the name it was going to was HVAC/IAQ Supply, ************************ so I took it home and contacted the seller to ask if the address was correct AND to find out if the return should have been postage paid as their label suggested when it said to just put it in the mail. They clarified it should be postage paid and they sent a new label with postage paid after saying same thing regarding the address. I relabeled the package and dropped it in the mail as instructed. This was at the end of May, 2023. It is now nearly the end of July, 2023, and the 2-day postage paid item, with a seller originated **** tracking number has not arrived. I contacted the seller multiple times to inquire about my refund and their response has been that things repeatedly get lost on their way to them and that theyll refund it once they get it. I asked them to track the item using their tracking number with the ****. I keep getting told were checking. As of July 19, 2023, the response was that they were heading over to the **** in person to ask about the tracking since they have a broken item they need to file a claim on. As of July 20, 2023, their response was that the **** didnt have a response. No information beyond that despite my repeated requests over the last two months to keep me posted. It seems I am not a priority since they have my money and no incentive to locate a bad bulb they sent me to begin with which would prompt a refund.
