In February 2024 I ordered a SKREEM unit and two new keys for a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire from this company. He asked that I send in the original SKREEM unit, ECU and the keys that I had. After sending everything off I received the items back minus the new keys that were ordered. He advised that the keys were on aback order and he would get them to me when they were available. We installed the components and the vehicle started and ran for about a day or so and the customer had the car towed back in to our shop and my technician determined the module had dropped out. I contacted ECU Team and they asked me to send it back for recheck and warranty service. I have been able to speak with them a few times since then. It has been about 5 months now and he has promised quite a few times that he was shipping it out including a text that said it was shipping out. The company has blocked our store phone number so I have to use my personal phone to try and contact them. I do not understand this type of behavior from a business.Initial Complaint

Paid this company to diagnosis the issue with my customers anti-theft system on their ************** They told me the diag fee includes their diagnosis of what the issue is and covers the return shipping of the components. We sent out the components asked of from ECU Team Corp and heard back from them right away. The person calling wasted no time calling over and over and over looking for us to approve a estimate to reprogram all the drive modules. I was waiting on approval from my customer to proceed with the work but the guy over from ECU Team Corp did not care, he called me 7 times back to back one morning looking for us to send payment and approval and every day after he would can until I answered! Because of this level of unprofessionalism I advised my customer to decline and we will find a different company. When I told ECU Team Corp that we decline and if they can send the parts back he proceeded to ask why we didn't want to proceed and finally said he would sent the parts back. Its been 3 months and I have to call from different phone numbers just to get ahold of someone! When I finally get ahold of someone they tell me its shipped and they will email me the tracking number then hang up. Order product and parts from ECU Team Corp, paid for the item and never received it. I have made several attempts to contact ECU Team Corp by phone, email and chat to no response. My card was charged $398.50 April 2024 I have yet to receive the parts ordered. ECU do a poor job in resolving the issue. Their sense of urgency in none and void. I am going to dispute the credit card charge and now filing a complaint with BBB to get this matter resolved.Business Response

We are in touch with the customer and communication is good, in terms of urgency, package was sent out to the address provided by the customer and was sent back to us due to invalid address. The attachments will show communication with ECU as stated the delivery company and facility misplaced or did not deliver the package. The tracking number that was finally given. We found it was not valid or the number does not exist by *** or USPS.
I still would like to request a refund. I reviewed all the emails and I've been waiting for a long time. At this point a refund is warranted. You even state that in your email response. You were given the correct mailing address. Provided another address since you couldnt get the package to the first address. ECU states to BBB that the wrong address was given well it was not the package was never delivered.

On Thursday May 30, 2024 went along with the owner a handicap women to drop off her Rodeo ECU car computer to which we were told by the ECU Team Corp owner that he will have it diagnose and call us back with the results on Friday 5/31/24 but he never called. Both myself and the handicap women have called everyday ECU Team Corp they never answer or call back. Finally got a hold of him on Wednesday he told me he had it diagnosed and will call me back on Thursday when it's ready he never called and will not answer his phone. This is the second time I have done business with him and have had issues with him not calling back.Initial Complaint

ECU Team was never able to provide me a working *** that lasted more than 3k miles.. my Sprinter has been down for 2 years because of this, and they took me for a $800 ride.. now I'm stuck in the same boat. Avoid this company, they told me the *** was fine and tested it.. but my van runs perfect with a known good unit. I wish for a refund as I never got what was promised. I am rejecting this response because: I had the second ECU you sent me tested and it was deemed faulty after you all said it was good. My Mechanic (Doktor A - *********************************) is one of if not the most knowledgeable Sprinter mechanics in this country. In fact he used to teach ******** ****** tech's things on the T1N Sprinter. He was able to hook up my Sprinter to his ********-**** computer and right away found the fault in the module. I had to purchase another ECU/SKREEM for $800 and now the van is fixed and runs perfectly. After both modules you all sent me I only had a running Sprinter for about a month after giving you all $800+, and it is now a paperweight. Please refund me or I will keep the complaint up and the bad ****** review, the issue is now resolved. I trusted your diagnosis and that's why it took so long for me to figure out what was wrong.

I send them 2 keys for my unit to be program and they only send me one back. They keep telling me I send one when Im 100 sure I send them both . They said they would send me a video of when they work on my order and never did. In middle of January 2023, I contacted tis company in order to solve an issue with my vehicle: **** ******** **** CL55 AMG. The representative indicated to me to send my ECM, front ***, ***********, EIS and my ignition key. I followed his instructions and promptly sent the request items. A couple of days passed and I was again contacted by their representative indicating that they could help and quoted me *****USD. The wanted a wire transfer, but I sent them a certified check for the amount requested. About three weeks passed and after contacting the representative several times y modules where returned. I installed them and my vehicle did not work, it exhibited little improvement, I promptly contacted them, to explain what the results of their was a failure. The representative indicated that he would need to speak with his engineer and would get back to me. after several calls and text messages I was able to speak to the representative. I continued to trouble shoot the issue. I found one fuse and a relay defective. This information I shared with the representative. The representative then requested that I send them my ECM, eis, and shifter this time, which I did. I sent it on February 27, 2023. Since then, I have not received nothing but promises that my modules are on the way, promises that they will call me back, which did not happen, I have requested several times an invoice and I have been promised that I would receive a comprehensive and detailed invoice reflecting what they did on my modules. I have not did not receive an invoice to this day. It is now more than three (3) months with ordeal and my cay lays in pieces in my garage waiting for my parts with no avail. I get no calls backs, no updates, no parts I want my money back and my parts. In this matter I can go and get the support I need from a professional organization that can really help me fix my car. On 8/18/2022 I sent an ***, security module, spare ***, and key to ECU Team. I requested that the *** be tested if possible, and that the spare *** be programmed to match the vehicle if necessary. I was then informed that my *** tested faulty and that my spare *** was unusable. I was given a quote for them to provide and program a replacement ***. On 9/6/2022, I requested that I pay for the testing and that my items be returned. The reasons for this request, among others, include that their quote was about $500 above the industry standard, and that 2 other companies had told me that the *** could not be properly tested on bench equipment alone. I paid the invoice for service, $175, and shipping, $50 immediately upon receipt on 9/12/2022. I ended up receiving my items about 9 weeks later in early November. Since my return request, I had received 2 tracking numbers, one of which tracked as delivered in ******** (I am in ************) and one tracked as "shipping label created, package not received by ****** I had given up on receiving my items and purchased a parts vehicle, since the ***, security module, ignition, door locks, and key must be a matched set. I have since identified the problem with the vehicle, which was not *** related. The original "faulty" *** is currently reinstalled in the van and is working flawlessly. It is likely that my "unusable" spare is fine too. Perhaps they were thrown off by 2 additional digits in the parts number after the exact match, which indicates factory refurbishment by Bosch. In any case, technical details of the "faults" in either *** we're not provided. I am a professional mechanic. The current functioning of the *** proves that their testing was either faulty or disingenuous. I am requesting a refund of the $225 I paid ECU Team for testing and shipping, which represents a small portion of the actual costs I have incurred through their errors.Initial Complaint

After reading ECU teams ads promising two day diagnostics and repair of a car electronic module, I called and verified the claim, and got instructions. EcU team employee signed for receipt of module on 8/21. On 8/26 Id still not heard anything so I called, emailed, and left voicemail. On 8/30, I was told they had no record and my part was missing. I provided the tracking number as requested. On 8/31 someone acknowledged receipt of tracking and said they would immediately figure it out. On 9/1 I asked again. On .9/2 I was told someone would update me by the end of the day and that theres no way my part was lost. They again did not update me as promised . On 9/6 I requested they return my part, as my car has been disabled and I need to get it working again. I explained that if my part was not shipped by the end of yesterday I would file a BBB complaint. Their response was that they didnt respond to threats and that my module was supposedly suddenly found, diagnosed, and finished . But, They did not send a tracking number, or do anything else yet. The ECU team has absconded with my part. They value the used part at $350 on their website. Since theyve stolen mine and refused for 3 weeks to do something they promised in two days, I humbly request they pay me the value of the item they signed for plus my shipping costs of $16. I also warn anyone who needs a control module worked on to avoid this group. They are either inept or a fraud, but after being lied to repeatedly, promised the moon and then left totally in the dark, they are absolutely terrible. Id recommend taking a hammer and smashing your module over donating it to these people. They have no credibility and will basically say whatever they think you want to hear before hanging up and blowing it off. Dont waste your time or money!Initial Complaint

On 6-29-2022,I shipped 3 components to this company (ECUTEAM),for repair or replacement. It was stated to me if I sent my units,it would only take a week for repair and 2 weeks for replacement. That is why I sent my units because I needed my vehicle running sooner than later. After about a month, no progress was made,so I stated to ****** just give me a new plug and play kit ( all three units) ,for $850.00. ****** stated to me because of my model type,it would be $950.00,I said ok.On/about the date 7-20-2022,I submitted the $950.00 payment and waiting on my new kit. After about two weeks I called and asked, what 's the status and he(******) said that he's still waiting. Finally, on/about the date,8-8-2022,I called and ********************* everything is ready and package would be shipped over night. Hello ****. Let's start off with your false accusations in regards of this matter. Not only we provided you new kit, the original units are still at our place which means that you received a working kit. In fact, the diagnostics report was sent out to your email. Every single time we were speaking, upon talking with you, we made it clear what the goal was. When your car would not start we gave you our technical advise which you never followed. Never received an email from other shop in regards of your car. The diagnostics report proves that everything is working. Because of such customers. We stopped doing service and started selling modules instead. You received the module on 8/8/22 and you are only writing now in regards of this matter without even contacting us.
