At the time of the rental at the *************** location (***************, *******), I was forced to buy insurance or the agent would not rent the car to me. I told the agent that I had personal auto insurance and I had also bought special insurance for the rental car for that day. She said she could not rent the car unless I provided proof. I ended up paying because I really needed the car and had no choice but then I looked at their policy and it states:"Collision Damage Waiver PROOF OF INSURANCE AND LIABILITY IS REQUIRED *** CAN BE PURCHASED AT THE *****IF *** IS NOT TAKEN FROM EASIRENT THE RENTER IS LIABLE FOR THE FULL COST OF THE REPAIR.THE LIABILITY WOULD BE TO THE FULL VALUE OF THE VEHICLE AND MUST SHOW PROOF OF OWN COVERAGE-IF SUPER PEACE OF MIND COVER IS TAKEN AT THE COUNTER THE INSURANCE EXCESS DEDUCTIBLE IS SET AT USD DOLLAR **** TERMS AND EXCLUSIONS MAY APPLY."I am requesting a refund for the Liability coverage of $19.99 and the *** of $29 I was forced to buy.Back to top
