Global Fine Art / AVC aka The Fine Art ******* based in ******* *******, sell fake 'artwork' to *********** over the Channel 10 / Gecko network in a live TV 'auction' which airs nationally in ********* twice weekly. GFA / AVC frame photocopied pictures, book cut-outs, posters, magazine cut-outs and market these fakes as genuine artworks from artists such as ********, *******, *****, *******, ******, ******* and many others. The '*******eers' and **** Experts' repeatedly claim throughout the live auction that all 'artworks' are genuine, authenticated, valuable and have a life-time guarantee. Between early 2022 and early 2023 I was de-frauded by GFA / AVC over $30,247 USD ($45,500 AUD). Earlier this year, I had the 'art' appraised by a reputable ****** auction house at which point it was established that in all cases, the 'art' was near worthless. I spoke with *****************, COO of GFA / AVC about the findings and next steps. Eventually, GFA / AVC agreed in writing to refund me in full, including all taxes and postage costs ($30,247 USD). Over the past 3 months I've sent multiple emails to Office Manager, ********************************* requesting this claim be finalised however, the agreed monies / refund has still not been returned in full as promised and my questions posed remain unanswered. Furthermore, GFA / AVC purport to be an Accredited BBB Business with an A+ rating, they also purport to part of the Fine *************** though I couldn't find GFA / AVC / tFAA on either site (I did find a Global Fine Arts - but this isn't Global Fine Art). GFA / AVC are defrauding people in ********* (and *******) out of hundreds of thousands of dollars as a result of their extremely misleading practices - they need to be permanently shut down and formally investigated by authorities.Customer response
