On vacation at Key West my friends and I rented mopeds from this business for 4 hours. The owner/business provided used and slightly broken mopeds for us to use. When we came back to return the mopeds the owner/business told us that we were all set to go and the mopeds were returned without any complaints. An hour later our debit cards were charged $821 along with a text message from the owner/business with pictures of damages which were not originally on the scooter when we returned them. I am seeking for help to get our money back from this scamming scheme. Thank you. Sincerely, ***************************.Business response

Good morning
Before I begin I would like to say we have a NO REFUND POLICY!!!
we had 5 young kids rent 5 scooters for 4 hours , we proceeded with paperwork and all insurance and damage waivers, also told them that in the **************** there is no insurance on 49cc mopeds so basically you crash it you buy it ! We just got a brand new shipment of scooters first time renting them so obviously there would be no damage on them
the kids returned the bikes 4 hours later dropped the keys in the office and took off My employee was busy with another customer at that moment, went outside to take scooters to the back to refuel and wash and saw the damages (this was about 7 min from dropping the keys to looking at the scooters ) He immediately called them and told them to come back to discuss the damages , they already left town
He then decided to charge them for the damages
we are not in the business to s**** people over ever But if there is damages to be paid its only fair that the customer do so !
we did give them a courtesy call before charging , usually we charge for everyday the scooter sits here and cant be rented because of damages but we havent
these scooters were brand new before they rented it , and it will sit in the shop till we get our parts in ! Unfortunately after Covid everything takes 10 times longer to get here
