On 6/28 at 5:00 pm we visited the “fortune teller” machine on the sidewalk at your establishment, my daughter inserted $1 and the machine did absolutely nothing. It made a sound like it was going to eject a fortune card however it did not. I immediately went inside to notify your staff and it was met with “no refunds” “yeah that machine is jammed” and “I don’t have a key to unjam it” etc etc. I asked politely for him to credit her $1 and to kindly place an out of order sign on the machine, to which he shrugged it shoulders and smiled at me condescendingly. I found another staff member, older female and explained the same situation and she smiled at me and shrugged her shoulders. Both refused to give me the contact info for the person running and or managing this establishment. I immediately notified *** **** management by leaving a voice message with the details of the event. It is absolutely absurd to rip off a child, even if it is $1. The easiest thing to do would be to acknowledge that the machine is broken and place an out of order sign on it. We paid $1 for a card to come out of the machine, we did not get one. Therefore we paid for a good or service that was not rendered, this is called fraud. Other online reviews have voiced deceptive practices at this establishment.
