    On Aug 7,2022, I gave the owner of Blade Runnerz a check for 787.50 to patch sod in my yard. This was 50% of the total fee. On Aug 12th, 3 pallets of sod were delivered. I immediately took pictures and sent to owner to complain that the sod was not fresh and a lot was already dried. He texted me to calm down that everything would be okay. He came over and said water every day for 30 days in 2 weeks fertilize and trust him to know his job. After he left installers put the sod in place. I sent pictures again showing 3" height gaps and 3" gaps between the pieces. His wife called and said that's just the way it's cut, that in time it will spread and cover the gaps. I mentioned that no tools were used to tighten the gaps nor was anything used to tamp it into the ground for better contact. She advised me give it 2 to 4 weeks. From Aug 12- Aug 31, the owner has not been by not once which I was getting the lawn serviced weekly before this event took place. I was told a representative from the sod company would come by to check to see if it was properly put in place ( I did not know until then that a third party was involved). The following week I informed the owner no one showed up, he said he would check on it. The following day I inquired and was told a representative talked to me the previous week and he and I agreed the sod was put in properly. I have requested a refund on at least three occasions, over 60% of the sod is dead, besides presenting trip hazards being 3-5 inches higher in spots. Now the owner says since he doesn't know if I took care of the sod properly he cannot refund my money. I have watered twice a day and had a company to give a quote about fertilizer program. 2 companies have said it was not properly installed.
