      On May 20,2024 rent a wheel keep calling me while I was at work. Im a teacher you cant answer your phone in class because you dont know whos watching. I call rent a wheel back and a young man answer the phone and I told him I will be in there on Thursday to pay my bill. He states ok, may22 was a horrible day got home and rent a wheel showed up and took my tires off after I made arrangements with the young man. Because when I ask to speak to the manager name red she always busy. So they showed up on private property and took my tires and rims off. Lift my truck bared my truck is damaged. Then they went to a next door neighbor house and took one of his tires and put it under my truck. So, my left drivers said is mess up. Of them slamming my truck down no telling what else damaged. I been renting from them and never known them to just come to people houses and take the rims and tires off.

      Story in ********, ******* ***************************************** is changing me $1700 for some used tires and Im paying $67.00 every payment for.

      I entered into a contract in December for new wheels and tires with Rent a Wheel in *******, ** for my vehicle. I was involved in a major car accident 2 weeks later that totaled my vehicle including the wheels. I notified rent a wheel of the accident and completed the necessary provided paperwork from rent a wheel and their insurance company as needed. I received no contact from Rent a Wheel after completing the necessary paperwork. TWO YEARS later was arrested in ** with my children in the vehicle for failure to redeliver hired services. A charge filed with Seminole County Courts in ** from Rent a Wheel. After paying travel fees to and from ** and ** and attorney fees for legal representation, I was not charged by the courts. Now, I want my travel, lost pay, and attorney fees reimbursed. Im starting here for resolution. Next step will be legal.

      This is the most unprofessional company I have ever encountered. Paid off the rims I purchased within the given 120 day amount of time and they are saying I owe them almost 1000$. They have not only harassed me but my family members as well. Given out my personal information to try to get in touch with me. If there was a place to upload the voicemails on here I would. Stay FAR AWAY from this place. It is absolutely a scam and they will not stop. 8-9 phone calls a day to me asking for money I dont owe them, 3-4 phone calls a day to my family members. They have insulted and threatened me. It is so bad I am having to get an attorney. If you buy from this place be ready to pay twice what you are agreeing to. You cant make payments online. If you do it doesnt go to the principal it goes in their pocket and they claim you didnt make the payment. How this place is even allowed to continue to run its business is absolutely beyond me. It is a scam. STAY. AWAY.

      Wheels and tires sold to me with promises they would fit no problem. They rub everywhere i go. Its incredibly embarrassing.

      On 06/07 I put down a $325 down payment on a set of rims for my car agreement #*********. When I came in I was sold on this 120 day early purchase agreement, which is really an 8 month contract if you don't buy the rims within those 120 days the price doubles and you pay for them twice. So when I was setting up my contract I was very specific when I asked if my final payment would be taken out on 10/05/23, and would I own the rims at that point. And I was told yes. So starting on 06/17 I started having weekly payments of $148.26 come out of my bank account.So fast forward to mid November I have made 21 weekly payments and have yet to miss one. But upon realizing I was still getting charged for the rims after I was supposed to own them I did the math and realize the weekly payments they set me up with were never gonna be enough to pay off the rims before the 120 days. In fact I needed to be paying more money than just the weekly payment to pay them off. So basically I am locked into the full contract. My concern is my contract doesn't say anything about needing to pay more than the weekly payments to pay them off in the 120 days, nor was I told in store when I was explicitly asking if these weekly payments were just gonna stop after the 120 days. The whole reason I bought these was for the 120 day agreement and I diligently made my payments under the impression I was good.At this point I cannot continue paying on them, what was supposed to cost me $3,352.32 is now scheduled to cost me $6,927.46. Obviously my only option is gonna be having to bring them back and take a loss of the $3,438.46 that I've already paid in it. I have tried reaching out to the store and talking to employees without success. I have done business here before I've never had issues as this has always been a trustworthy place for me to get rims. When I was set up with the weekly payments I was told it was gonna pay them off. BUT to also not have anything in the contract that states that. HELP.

      The Memphis Tn location on Covington pike! First let me start off by saying that the employees have a nasty rude smart mouth. This store location is run by a family. The manager is the mother and her kids are the works. I took my children to the bathroom and her son walked in on us, he didn’t knock or anything. Then had the nerve to be rude and say dang I need to use the bathroom like he is at home. I blame the manger which is his mother and the store owner. They talk any kind of way to the customers. Secondly they are ripping people off. How do is it that you can’t tell me how much I am paying for tires, but you telling me how much I have to pay/owe. Secondly I did the 120 pay off option which was paid off way before the 120 day mark only for the to tell me I owe more money! How when it says right here in my contract that if paid by this date that this bill is paid off. They charge you if you chose to pay online. How do you have a business that gives its customers login information, but charge them to use the website. Rent a wheel is a scam. They make it so that you can not enter the amount you want to pay online, they make you pay what they want you to pay. I am very unsatisfied with my expat this store and I have been from the very beginning. I asked if could pay cash from day 1 and was told no. I contacted corporate several time and that just made the situation worse. At this point I’m going to have to seek legal action. This is unacceptable! Oh did I mention that they hung the phone up in my face twice today. They called me to tell me about my payment la and when I told the the pro that I was having broke down the math, those employees needs to be fired. For you to tell me we know you talked to my corporate manger, as if that was going to scare me. A change needs to be mad ASAP. I wouldn’t recommend a fly to shop there. Oh did I mention that I’m prove for parts that was not put on my vehicle.

      Horrible customer service the female manager ran from behind the counter to try to fight me after talking with her about paying off my wheels the commutation here is Horrible they promise to return calls the guy William is also a liar I have never missed one payment and when i 1st got the wheels I paid waited 2 weeks before receiving them i had to make a payment when I got them if I could give 0 stars I would DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE the manager will try to fight you I will also be filing complaint with crop office and a law suit I'm afraid to go into there business do to unprofessional management And I missed my payout by 1 day I called next morning and my balance when from being 300 to 1000 after speaking with William and being told he was gone work with me to not have to pay interest because balance was very low and I was even trying to pay the full 300 after being told that the balance went up then when I arrived at the store the store manager attempted to attack me all can be confirmed in pd report

      I went to then on July 12 to install new tires. The tire light never went off they told me that it will turn off after driving for 10 minutes. The next day it still hadn't turned off. I went back and was told it just needs to reset and drive for awhile. A week later light still isn't off. So I went back again and they said they checked it and everything is fine to reset it in the car and drive it and it will turn off. It never turned off so I went to midas where they scanned all my sensors and found one of them broken. They broke one of my tire sensors but kept lying to me about it.

      The manager who I spoke to after getting my tire fixed elsewhere ripped up the copy of my proof while I was still standing in the store.

      I did business with Rent-A-Wheel in Lake Worth, Florida. I don’t recommend this place at all. I bought rims for my car in November 2022 and I had 120 days to pay off the rims which I did payments every 2 weeks. My end date for the 120 days was March 12,2023 now they are telling me that I still owe like $600 more to pay off. Unacceptable! They lied to me and I don’t like that. I was told after 120 days I would have a little bit more that I owed left not $600. The manager Richard is trash! No way how he can be a manager. The only one I like is Jerry the sales rep. He took care of me in November. I like him. I see potential with him not like Richard he is 100% crap! I see that I am not the only one that has complained about this business. This says a lot about this. Not good! Something needs to be done.
