            We hired Wooley brothers to install a new roof after hurricane Ian in charlotte county Florida in November 2022. Before we hired them we specifically asked if they were licensed and would they pull a permit. Aaron the manager assured us they always do since they’re licensed in Florida. So after this assurance and contract was sent from him we hired them and they installed the roof and were paid in full (see attached payments). We have now found out through charlotte county (see attached) no permit was ever pulled for our roof or any other in our 200 home development. The roof was never inspected as required by charlotte county law and they are in violation of Florida licensing board. Charlotte county informed me on the phone we can’t go back and get the permit and inspections as it has to be inspected during the process. We also cannot get homeowners insurance and are forced to have a new roof installed legally. I have contacted them many times and they won’t respond. At this point we have to have a new roof installed and done correctly so we need our 2400.00 refunded in order to do this.

            Wooley Brothers responded promptly when we had a roof leak to put a temporary tarp on the roof and also climbed through the attic to determine the cause and extent of the problem. They then returned a few days later to put in a permanent fix. I considered their price to be fair and reasonable and would have them back if I have another issue.
