We entered a contract with Pat's Sod on 6/7/22 to replace the sod on our entire yard. This is a copy of the contract Project Size 4400 Square Feet Project Total $4000.00 Complete replacement of existing vegetation with ProVista' Saint Augustine grass. Upon removal of the existing vegetation, we will level the soil and apply a lite cover of starter fertilizer to enhance the soil quality. After we install the new grass, we will again fertilize the new grass with a light spread of starter fertilizer, to enhance rapid growth and rooting of the ProVista grass. We will educate you on how to properly care for your new grass. This project will take 3 to 4 days to complete. A deposit by check or credit credit on****** pay will be required in order to start. We collect three payments for all projects: Deposit 1 (removal of existing vegetation), Deposit 2 (grass cost and delivery) Deposit 3 (installation of the new grass). You are welcome to pay for the grass in advance with the first deposit to speed up delivery for prompt installation. Sod delivery can take 2 to 5 business days. We appreciate you calling us for this estimate! We are fully licensed and our business licenses are viewable online. Written by Patrick G. (Owner) We had to pay for the sod, trash container etc - he had no funds. He came to our house with no equipment so used our rakes, wheelbarrow, etc 1/2 the sod has died and needs replaced. He will not respond. Letter sent: Pat's Sod Service 235 West Brandon Blvd. Suite 188 Brandon, FL 33511 Attention: Patrick G****, Owner Operator We have tried to contact you for over a week without a response, by several telephone calls, emails and text. The grass you installed is dying and needs replaced. We have done everything you told us to do to get the grass to root. This is a demand for you to contact us within 72 hours regarding the grass you installed. If we do not hear from you within 72 hours we will be forced to file suit. Please help.Initial Complaint

In July of 2021, we hired Pat's Sod Service to deliver and install new sod in our backyard, gave him a deposit on July 19th for Pat's Sod Service to purchase the sod in the amount of $1107. Per Patrick ****** owner of Pat's Sod Sevice, the job would be completed by July 23rd. After receiving the funds to purchase the sod, Patrick came to our house once, pulled some weeds for about two hours and then left for the night assuring us he would be back in the morning. Patrick did not show up the rest of the week and the job was not completed, it was barely started. After numerous text messages between the 19th through the 27th of July, we told Patrick he had not fulfilled his end of our agreement and we would like our money refunded, he then proceeded to threaten us with collections and small claims court as he wanted us to pay the remaining balance for a job he barely started. We are looking to recoup our deposit of $1107 and would be grateful for any assistance you may have for us. I have over 100 text messages as well as photos and police reports. Thank you.
