*Potential Customers Beware* FLA Decorative Concrete and Mike ********* did my driveway in May of 2021. We had cracks and some holes in driveway that Mike said he could repair, before doing the coating and sealing. Let's start at the beginning he states that he uses Sherwin Williams stain and sealer. What I found out after the fact is he uses Florida Paints TopiCrete, and Sherwin Williams sealer, that's not what we were told originally. He claims to use a 2-part epoxy to repair the cracks, when he's concrete caulk which doesn't work with some applications. The work was done in 2 days and the finished product looked good for about a month and a half and the 2 rust spots showed up on the driveway. When I called Mike about this, he said just put some muriatic acid on it to clean it off. This seemed strange to me considering that was going to damage the sealer that was put down even if it's diluted. I did try to pressure wash and even tried CLR and it wouldn't come up. Mike came out and cleaned the rust and attempted to fix the rust spot again. He also damaged my boarder (it's discolored) and still hasn't fixed it from the acid he used. When he was called again in July explaining it was still creating rust, I was spoken to with nothing that vulgar language and told it's my fault. He did come back out and tried to repair again to no avail. He tried to make a deal with me that he would put on an extra coat of sealer and let's call it even. Obviously, I didn't agree. He sealed anyways, which was nice but didn't resolve the rust. The rust is now back again, and I have been told for 2 weeks now that Sherwin Williams and Florida Paint will be out to check it out. That hasn't happened either. Mike's customer service and follow-up was great while the job was going on, however when there was an issue it changed 180 degrees.
