the bid submitted stated that the tree removal would be with use of 100ft crane. No crane was used nor any refund given for the non-use. Mr. ********************** demanded money up front before the work was even started. I refused and told him he would be paid in full when the job was done. He said he couldn't do the job then . He returned a short while later a s I prepared to call another company and said ok. I did give him partial cash payment when the tree was down he said he needed to pay the workers. He was not there to supervise the clean up once the tree was down and three large trunk pieces were left. They were collected a couple of days later and again he was not there to supervise which resulted in an issue of my word against the word of the man who did the clean up over damage done to my driveway. There were other minor issues that are irrelevant compared to the above including his coming on my property without my permission when I was not home and putting something on the cracks in the driveway that we had agreed was not a proper solution.Business response

Yes, I told her I was using a crane and that I needed a deposit once we got started to pay for the crane she said she was not going to do that so I said I cant do the job there so I came up with a solution to pay for the crate and I said well do the job we want paid upon completion when we arrived we are waiting on the crane. I am in the tree getting some of it out before the crane got there to make more access for the crate, the crane called and said he had a breakdown so I had to manually take the tree down. There should not have been a deduction in the price shouldve been an increase, but we do not do that because it was manually taking down harbor work, but I took the tree down. She had a couple of dents in the yard from the logs in the grass. I fix those areas put inside for her, I had the ***** grinding for her and I told her we do not remove ***** grindings. I told her that upfront she said no problem because if you remove the grinding later, it will settle and you will have a whole. She agreed I got the tree down headed ******** theres three pieces left there. I had to contact another company to come and haul off those three pieces that company went and hauled off those three pieces three weeks later she tells me her driveway is cracked. I go look at it you can barely see the crack she had to put water on it to see the hairline cracks then I noticed the ***** grindings had been hauling away. She said she had the guy come in this area and haul it away. Thats where it was cracked I tried to smooth her over by rubbing some crack filler in her cracks, telling her that these cracks were not on me they were on her, but I tried to help her know she wanted to cut out and replaced. I told her I can set her up with a concrete man, but it was not on me. It was on her, she gave me problems from the very beginning. Ive been doing this work for over 20 years and *** never had a problem.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:I was never told a deposit was needed for the crane.
This is a matter of she said he said and there will be no resolution. I just want anyone considering this company to be aware of my experience.
Mr Jackson was present only when he was taking the tree down. He then left and was not here when the tree remains were loaded onto the removal
vehicel, nor the next day when the ***** grinder was here, or the following day when another came to remove 3 large tree pieces left from the first day.
My comments were made by a first person witness, Mr. ****************************** were not. I have nothing more to day on the subject.
