Whiddon Construction Company put roof on my house in January 2019. Paid cash $9400. Summer of 2021 the roll roof slid off back porch. Called and was told it was a manufacturer’s error and they would have to come inspect it. Called Whiddon’s numerous times over more than a year before anything was done. Fall 2022, Whiddon’s re roofed the porch. February 18, 2023, the roof leaked into the ceiling of one bedroom. They came and said they coudn’t find a leak but caulked around the ridge cap. At that time, I showed ***** how my gutter was falling down. He said it would be fixed and my bedroom ceiling repaired. On March 18th, leaked in bedroom again. Called and no one came out. March 27th my son in law called them to see why they haven’t come out. Told him they would come out this week but they didn’t. They called to come out on April 5th and went into the attic to find the leak. Found water mark in attic and repaired the roof. I was told my gutter and ceiling would be repaired. I also told him the granules were washing off the shingles really bad. He said that was normal but this is the 4th roof on my house and I never had this problem before. I have to clean my driveway and car every time it rains. Summer 2023, my bedroom ceiling was repaired but no one from Whiddon’s called to see if they did a satisfactory job. It is satisfactory. No one called about the gutter so on April 29, 2024 I called to remind them and also reported that there is more damage now and the roof over the gutter is sagging or dipping down. Was told Roger or ***** would call me. This is May 3rd and no one has called. I only want the repairs to be done. I am tired of calling this company. Whiddon phone # ************.
