Good Morning *** *****,
Please see response below in regards to complaint id # ********
When I met with the ******* on 10/25/2021, they stated to me that they had a county permit from a previous installer; and they fired the contractor. I explained to them that we could help them out with their situation for the contract price. Which included supply and weld hitch, breakdown, transport, setup, dirt/pad and move on permits. They agreed to the contracted price and wanted it done ASAP. On site, Miss ******* and I spoke about having the trailer moved between November 1st and November 15th as long as we had permits. On the 19th of November permit was issued. I spoke to them and let them know that we can move their house before Thanksgiving the 25th of November or after, that way nobody was misplaced for the Holidays.
They stated they wanted it moved then. We came out on the 22nd of November to break down the mobile home. Usually everything is moved out of a home and put into a storage during transport. We let the ******* keep all their belongings in the home (to cut down on the cost and work for the *******) with the understanding that if something is to break during transport it is not on the transport drivers. No matter if the home is a brand new home or a used home like the ******* 1983 home, windows sometimes break during transport. This is something that happens on a usual basis even to the newest of homes, this is not something that occurs every once in a while. The customers were fully aware of what could happen during transport, especially with things like tile and or windows. Usually, the customer is the one that would handle a broken window. However, to help them out we would replace the windows.
The mobile home was installed the very next day. All plumbing was ran underneath the mobile home the only thing that was left was 20 ft of a septic tank connection. The residents are not allowed to use the facilities without having the proper Certificate of Occupancy from the county. When we were coming out to replace the glass for the windows, we would make the septic connection. Once we arrived out to the premises to make the septic connection we noticed that the customers were using the bathroom in the house and feces were pouring out of the septic pipe. Meanwhile there is nobody supposed to be using any plumbing in the home without it being finalized from the county.
On 12/8 everything on our end was complete. The windows were complete, the mobile home was broke down, transported and set up to the State of Florida specifications, and tied into the tank and the rest of the job from here on out would be on the ******* to complete. We also explained to the ******* that with moving their home before the Holidays they could expect some delays. However, from November 22st to December 8th Price Rite Enterprise Inc. job was complete.
We have been in contact with the ******* through a string of emails and text messages throughout this process, and at this point we are waiting on the homeowners to make contact with us and let us know when their end is completed for us to call in inspections.
