I ordered 10 lbs of Bleached white Indian Ocean Shell Mix with upgraded shipping. When ordering bulk, I know there will be broken shells. I also know a retailer can not control how many of a particular shell you will receive with bulk. It is a roll of the dice. But you expect the item you are purchasing to be accurate.The listing photo showed a mix of white bursa rana shells, white ********* spirita shells, white cancellaria shells, and the bleached small conch and whelk shells which are common shells for Indian mixes. When buying 10lbs you expect at least a handful of these shells. I didnt receive a single one of any of these shells. The majority of the shells in the listing photo, about 90%, I did not receive. I did receive lots of arc shells (4 lbs) which are in the photo. I also received white bubble and white cerithium shells (4lbs) which are not in the photos. 3 lbs of the order was broken shells, sand, and sediment. The shells came tied ** in a thin, plastic grocery store bag that broke when I was trying to get it out of the box.The return policy was difficult to find. If you dont contact them within 24 hours of receiving the order you are not eligible. They charge a 75% restock fee when you return an item and you are responsible for shipping. I tried to leave a review which has still not been posted. The owner stated he sent white shells and he cant control what you get. He stated the listing photo was 20 years old and acted like if my items did not look like the photo it was because things change in 20 years. As if its not his fault the photos and description dont match what they ship.If you are looking for usable shells for projects dont buy from them. There are reputable shops with accurate descriptions and photos. I used this company because they were close and I could get items for my project quickly delivered. Regret it and will never shop with them again.

We are sorry you are not happy. It clearly states in the description that no two bags are the same. This item is sold by weight only and as you clearly state you were sent 10 plus pounds of the white mix. We are sorry that you did not get enough or any of particular shells that you wanted. If that was the case that you needed a particular species of shell, we do sale those individually. This is why our policy states please buy in sample sizes before buying in bulk.
