Service was provided in Jan 2022. My son who was under age was exposed to covid and we went to have a test completed. This is the same facility that we had the same test completed in Oct 2021 as he was exposed then as well. The Dr was incompetent and keep repeating herself to my son (I.E, Do you have a fever) and after several hours of waiting for our appt to see the Dr for a simple covid test, they over-changed us. My insurance company paid the proper portion but refused to pay the additional coding they added at Advent Health. I called multiple times and explained that we did not come there with symptoms and my insurance company stated they coded the bill incorrectly. Advent health refused to correct it and now has sent mt to a collection agency. I need help in resolving this before they attempt to place this on my credit reports as it is not valid.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2022/09/15) */ Without the patient's information, Name and Date of Birth, I am unable to look up the information to verify charges. Consumer Response /* (3000, 12, 2022/09/24) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) They have received several calls, messages left and copies of the invoice. They have the bill under the mothers name and not the patient that they saw which was my son. I've provided the previous attachments when filing the complaint that included the account number, the name patient, address, insurance and date of birth. However, the bill/invoice list******************** whom they didn't see in 2021. They saw *************** 2021 for a rapid covid swab.Initial Complaint

On 11/17 I went to centra care in lake Mary to get tested for covid. I had symptoms and was exposed at work which I told them several times. A month later I receive a bill for $30 and they billed my insurance $190 something dollars. (I have been tested multiple times at other locations after having symptoms and being exposed and I was never made to pay as they say it's free if you've been exposed or if you have at least 2 symptoms) I called several times and waited on the phone over 20 minutes each time and no one in their billing department answers the phone. I have left messages for them to call me back and have yet to hear back. It's frustrating not being able to talk to anyone to get this coded properly and removed from my account.
