      My problem is that not only was my regular doctor not there they had sold the business they charged me $759 for lenses even though I had my own frames they price gouged me and then made me wait 2 weeks to go back to get my glasses in which they told me I could use Dollar store glasses in the meantime which if I was going to use Dollar store glasses they shouldn't charge me $759 for glasses that when I went back to get them two weeks later didn't even work so when I requested to see my original eye doctor they made sure that she was not available. $759 for lenses that I can't even wear do not work when I could have gone to Sam's club Walmart or anywhere else and paid $150 I expected my old eye doctor to take care of me not to be ripped off by these people and then dismissed when I had a problem with them. To which they argued with me about my prescription and then told me that it did not change so I didn't have anything to get used to so why are you charging me so much money for something that didn't change to begin with.

      Ms. *** had an eye exam on May 9, 2023, with Dr. Patricia G*** and on May 9, 2023 Ms. *** purchased lenses only for her existing frame. Ms. *** did not provide vision insurance at the time of the sale and the optical Location offers promotions on complete pair sales. Ms. *** paid $85.00 to Dr. G*** for the exam and $674.00 for the lenses in Ms. ***’s existing frame.
      The Optical department discussed all lens materials and lens options with Ms. *** based on the prescription Dr. Gold provided and the style lens Ms. *** was looking for. The lenes and lens material Ms. *** requested were upgraded lenses and there was an additional fee for using her own frame.
      When Ms. *** picked up her eyeglass, she requested to see Dr. T******* whom she had seen in the past. The Optical manager scheduled the appointment while Ms. *** was in the Optical department for June 24, 2023. On June 24, Ms. *** did not show up for her second eye exam with Dr. T******.
      The refund policy for a custom made eyewear is 24 hours after the delivery of the eyeglasses.  This information is located on the itemized receipt.
      We would like to schedule Ms. *** for an eye exam with Dr. T****** and remake the lenses at no charge.

      I went to an appointment that was presumed to be my original optician which ended up not to be the case once I arrived. I informed them of lack of insurance and was not informed of any costs. My mistake for "assuming" it would be the same cost as prior visits with insurance coverage. In fact I thought it might even be less because my last visit was half the cost WITH frames. Upon initial visit I complained about cost that was not presented to me until AFTER my eye exam & signed order for only lenses (not even frames). To which the eye doctor pointed out "that's why I don't buy glasses/lenses from here" and then directed me to go to the dollar store for glasses while I waited to 2 weeks for my lenses to be filled. The DAY, not 24 hours after, THE SAME VISIT I expressed the lenses were wrong. They admitted to putting them in incorrectly. When the lenses still didn't work they told me I needed to get used to them; they then told me there should be no issue because there was no change to my left lense at all which is the one I was complaining about. On top of not being able to see out of the left lense the entire set was no longer progressive as should have been. The manager was combative with me. I asked for my previous script for comparison and requested to see Tartibi. They said she would be in later that day so I opted to wait since this shop is an hour from my house. They then said no, she would be in the next day. I said I'd be back then. They then said it would be a week before she was in so I said I would be there. They THEN said she wouldn't be in for almost a month on a day I was out of the country on a cruise (which I told them). I am not going back here. They ripped me off. I want my money back and will never be back since they bait & switched me then argued with me about it and then avoided the correction. IM DONE!!!
