My daughter's wedding was on Feb. 22, 2022 at Timacuan Country Club in Lake Mary, Florida. We paid approx $6,000. in advance. This was for 50 guests. I was told that if the actual number of guests was lower, we would be credited for the difference. The guest count was 27. At the end of the night I spoke to Amber L**** (Club Manager) about the final cost. We determined that I was due a refund of $1,162.65. The refund would be sent out in 30 days. I called and e-mailed many times asking when the check would be sent. All I received was the run around. Finally, the check arrived on May 13, 2022. The check bounced on May 16 and I was charged $12.00 fee. Amber said that she will send a certified check this week, but the club owner must approve the new check. I also want them to pay the penalty fee.
