    On December 21, 2023, Points Payment Management contacted me, by phone, regarding my unused timeshare points with Hilton Grand *************** Points Payment Management stated they were authorized to rent out my unused points at a profit so that I would not lose the benefit of unused time. Based on these representations, I agreed to execute a contract with Points Payment Management and remitted a membership/service fee of $2,094.00. In March, Points Payment Management instructed me to contact Hilton Grand ************** to authorize the rental process for a prospective tenant. However, when contacted, Hilton Grand ************** informed me that this was not something that could be offered and confirmed that they do not conduct business with Points Payment Management. What became shockingly clear was that I paid Points Payment Management for a service they CANNOT actually provide for Hilton Grand ************** timeshare owners. In fact, the representative that I spoke to referred to Points Payment Management and the service it sells as a "SCAM!" I contacted them with what Hilton ******************* said and was told "they don't understand our service." I immediately verbally cancelled my contract and later followed it by letter outlining, the reason why, and requesting a full refund. To date, Points Payment Management has declined to respond and they have been unable to provide the service paid for.

    PPM-116,780 unused points relinquished for rent to others..agreement dated 4/30/24, good for one year. As of this date, 2716 points have been utilized with monetary return sent to me. I am happy with this return, sincerely hope that remaining unused points will also be rented within time frame so that I can be reimbursed financially for my relinquishment of points I can’t use right now. PPM-Getaway weeks…relinquished 6 getaways to the tune of 1800.00..no return yet. Since 11/2023 8 offers..6 NO AVAILABILITY…2 AVAILABLE. However, no successful booking. PPM responds “corporation has staffing issues,” holding off on booking for both that were available. Seems like a standard response. If individuals requested specific accommodations, why not accept when told it was available? Even when alternative accommodations were available within 15-20 miles? One accepted offer would have almost met the amount of dollars I spent! Not very happy with this situation….retired, have no money to throw away. Program sales pitch made it seem so easy to rent/were in demand/guaranteed return…hopefully things will pick up soon. Sincerely wish to recoup my monies! Upon reading other reviews, I am becoming very skeptical….RCI rep did say to me also that this was a scam and they were not affiliated with this process.

In regards to the getaways, unfortunately sometimes there can be a lack of availability. When it comes to alternatives, it is at their discretion to utilize or not. If they do not, we do cross reference with additional events to search for a match. We are working on more offers and will follow up with an update.
