I am appalled by the atrocious service provided by Mechanical Air. This company has repeatedly lied and abused their customers, demonstrating a complete lack of professionalism and respect. They consistently fail to show up at the promised time and don't even have the decency to call with updates. It's been over three weeks, and they still haven't fixed the issue. Today was the last strawthey were supposed to arrive first thing in the morning to resolve the problem they couldn't fix yesterday. Not only did they fail to show up again, but they also didn't notify us of any changes. When we finally managed to get through to them, we were told it had been rescheduled without any notification. This is absolutely unacceptable, especially considering the person waiting for them is a 96-year-old gentleman, sitting in a house without AC in this heat. Mechanical Air's blatant disregard for their customers' well-being is shocking.Business response

We are not the manufacture of the replacement part. We ordered the part and informed **************** was kept in the loop the entire time. We are in the service business dictated by our climate, if we are running behind its because we are trying to help others who also do not have working air conditioning. **************** repeated miss treated our employees being very disrespectful and we have nothing but provide the service in a the time line of receiving the part. We will not be helping **************** from here on out. The work was completed before he registered his complaint with BBB.Initial Complaint

We had a new air conditioner installed in our ******* premises on 7/7/2023. (We were not there at the time) We paid in full. The contract included an emergency shutdown float switch. Several days later the person who checks on our apt. texted to tell us our kitchen ceiling was falling and there was water damage to our cabinets. We called the air conditioning company -they returned and repaired the problem with the air conditioner but stated it was not their fault.Our insurance would not cover the entire claim, as they stated faulty workmanship. Mechanical Air said it was not their fault. We said we just wanted the company to pay for the damage to the kitchen or at least the water damage to the cabinets. The manager hung up on us.
