In May/June of 2023, Cabinet Country along with Square One Construction did a refurb of our kitchen, including new cabinets, new backsplash, new countertops, and new flooring. We paid approx. $39,667.00 in total for materials and labor. Unfortunately, they installed the wrong size backsplash tile and one cabinet was installed crooked as the wall they extended was not installed squarely. They assured us these issues would be corrected. They agreed we could supply new tile and they would have the wrong tile removed and replaced and the cabinet fixed. As agreed, we have purchased the replacement tile and all other materials on our own for them to remove and replace the backsplash tile. They have yet to respond and fix this problem even though we have been contacting them continuously. It has now been almost a year. I would like for them to remove the incorrect backsplash tile and replace it with the correct backsplash tile. I would like for them to correct the crooked cabinet over the refrigerator. If theyre not going to do the work, they promised to do to correct their errors, I would like a credit from the company of $3967.00Initial Complaint

Contacted Cabinet Country LLC of ********** to install new cabinets in our kitchen. we approved the design, signed the contract and paid in full during September 2023. Cabinets were scheduled to be installed 10/26. I confirmed 10/26 with ******* on the 10/25. Installer NO SHOWED 10/26. I contacted the owner who apologized and said he would be there 10/27 . Installer NO SHOWED AGAIN 10/27. The owner delivered cabinets on 10/27 and assured us someone would be there 10/28. Owner stated one cabinet was used from a previous job bc he couldn't get a new one of it. An installer came on 10/28 and continuously complained about being at the job and the cabinets not being pre-assembled. Installer did not return the 28th or 29th. Contacted office and was told he would be there on 10/30. Install continued. The countertops were installed on 11/3 and it was discovered then that the cabinets were taller than previous cabinets causing the countertop to not fit under the window correctly. I informed Owner of the issue. They responded stating they would look come at it. Upper cabinets were completed 11/3. A large pantry cabinet was not installed that was part of the design as the installer felt " it wouldn't look good". The Cabinet installer left piles of trash and boxes. This was trash from the whole kitchen install spanning 3 rooms including the pantry cabinet that was assembled but not used. The owner had someone come get it on 11/6. Owner came to look at hole in exterior wall under the window finally on 12/5, after canceling on 11/18, and provided no explanation. Window installer came on 12/8 and took pictures. After many calls and texts owner finally texted on 1/22. ***** stated he was working on it would call by 1/26. The window company followed up with me 1/27. Owner never called back or scheduled repairs. I have attempted many times to contact owner via call and text since with no responses. ************** has not been able to make contact either. In August I ordered my new kitchen. It was about $14,000. It remained unusable through mid December. Post I was super excited to work with a small town family business. I’m super disappointed in the way they handled my entire transaction. It all went south when the sales guy left. I had to repay the military discount that he gave me. My roll out shelving never happened because it wasn’t itemized on the deal. I explained that I needed those as I’m a disabled veteran with limited bending/stooping and lifting ability. The cabinets weren’t hung to the specs agreed upon and then needed to be moved because adequate space wasn’t left for the refrigerator. The installer backed his trailer into my RV and never mentioned it. I felt intimidated being alone so I just got a police report after he left. While he was at the house I was able to get some adjustments made to doors not matching, damaged fronts that were installed and some of the crown moulding cut evenly. However, he dragged my refrigerator, sideways, across my new travertine floors. I asked him not to because it would damage the stone floors. There’s now grooves from the kitchen to the family room. I texted Cabinet Country for a solution and no response. They charged 100% labor and materials before the job. It took months to finish my kitchen!” I have many more texts and photos if needed.Initial Complaint

Setup installation of cabinets in September. Was told to pay in full, which we did. Was contacted by installers, and asked to pay more money to have them come out twice to complete installation - we did. They never showed up. Cabinets took over a month to receive - they are in the floor of our home in boxes. We've had 8 appointments to have them installed setup and each one was cancelled either due to a vehicle breakdown, an installer personal issue, or a change in employment status. The office refuses to assist us, and abide by their agreement to have these installed at the original price. We have had to pay extra money along the way, as their pricing has changed and they feel they can disregard a contract of payment in full. We have yet to have anyone install these cabinets and complete the work. September 2021 to present (January 2022) and all the parts are here in our home in boxes on the floor. This is unacceptable, and not a good business sense. When we call to inquire, we are given the run-around, and told that they are a christian business and would never screw anyone around. Yet here we are - and unable to get resolution. We have even threatened to secure legal representation on this matter, as they refuse to send itemized statements on the account showing what we paid, why the rates have changed after payment in full, and refuse to rectify the situation.
