We ordered sod, they sent all dead sod. 3 pallets full of dead sod. When we called to get this situation rectified they did not care and said “that’s just Bahia” but on their website they advertise Bahia grass with a beautiful picture of green grass. What we got was completely dead grass that resembled hay. The total cost was $523.70 for the pallets of dead grass.Business response

We delivered 3.5 pallets of freshly cut Bahia. This customer obviously ordered the wrong grass and is giving bad reviews on Google and reporting us to the BBB due to their error. The picture that is being referred to on our website is St. Augustine which requires consistent irrigation to look like that and the cost is twice as much. Justin ordered the grass and stated they did not have irrigation so bahia is the grass for that application. Had they ordered St. Augustine and not had irrigation it would have died anyway. The bahia does not need an irrgation system to do well. If it doesnt get watered it gets brown but comes right back. St. Augustine does NOT come back and just dies.They did not ask to upgrade to St. Augustine which would have been an additional $422.65. They were trying to save money which is understandable but their choice of grass was not our fault whatsoever. We try to advise people as much as possible when they inquire about the differences in grass. Please do not hold us responsible for their mistake. Thank you.

Dear ***** , I'm so sorry your rejecting our answer, however I suggest you contact any other sod retailer that sells Bahia sod ( we all purchase from the same vendors ! The product you received is what we all sell, and exactly what you ordered.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
You should change the photo on your website for Bahia then, it’s false advertising. You should tell your staff to be more helpful when selecting sod, mention that Bahia is very crappy and nothing like the photo on your website. And You should apologize sincerely when a customer is unhappy with the false advertised grass.
