I entered into an agreement to assist in the relocation from ********** to ******* for a job relocation. Our move date was pushed out a week due to an unforseen circumstance with selling our home. Allegiance was very accommodating in moving us to the following week. Movers were due to show up on Friday between 9am and 12pm, pack our home that day, and then pack the truck on Saturday. After a couple of calls close to 12pm, we were notified after 12pm on Friday that they "postponed" our move until Saturday. We were then given a window of 9am - 12pm on Saturday. (We needed to vacate our home by 5pm Saturday, but they said they were "sending 2 crews, so they should be fine.") The movers did show up Saturday around 12:30pm to pack and load a 5 bedroom home! The eventually finished at 12:30am. During the course of speaking with the movers, they informed us that they been driving for the last 18 hours. They all looked really tired and were doing their best. Unfortunately, the long day and lack of sleep had them ******* and not taking care in packing some of the final items. Also, noteworthy to mention is that we spent extra to have a dedicated truck. The movers showed up with 2 box trucks. Once they were finished and were leaving, they informed us that the 2 trucks may arrive on separate days. On Wednesday, I received a call from the driver to let me know he would be delivering my belongings on Thursday morning in an 18-*******. Once he arrived and was nearing completion with unloading, I began to notice a bed and bedframes missing. He informed me that only half of his truck contained our items and the other half was someone else's! Again, we paid extra for a dedicated truck and guaranteed 7 day delivery.After several calls, and no 10 days later, we have no idea where our remaining belongings are. We have paid them over $17,000 and I only have one contact person that has been calling back and has been unable to locate my items.
