MOVERS BEWARE!!!!! I wish I could leave 0 stars. I am in process of a cross-country move with Elite Moving Partners and feel compelled to write this review. I may have written 3 reviews in my time, always to share praise, but I am writing this to hopefully save someone the stress and anxiety I've been undergoing for the past 2 weeks. Ever since I paid my deposit for pickup, it has been a horrible experience! I initially spoke with ********* ("Moving specialist") who among other companies I reached out to for quotes, was super fast to respond. We went over my 1bdrm apartment inventory (approx 796 Sq feet apartment) and he quoted me with a competitive price. He also said that due to a sudden cancellation on the truck, I would receive a "discounted price," if I booked that day. He also told me that my move from CA to NJ shouldn't be more than 11 days after pickup - So I decided to move out of my Apartment 8 days early to give them a head start to NJ. ********* said to ignore the contract sent stating that it could take, 5-30 days and that the average is no more than 11 days. He stated that they have to create a larger window in case of bad weather - Fine. That seemed fair to me. What a fool I was to believe this! I paid approx. $1500 for initial deposit. When it came time for pickup, Elite Moving Company failed to tell me that they actually outsource a different company to do the actual moving/travel. They also have NO control over when this company decides to finally move your stuff. ********* also told me I could continue to pay with my credit card - LUCKILY I happened to call their Customer service number the day before and, ***** ("specialist") informed me that I would need to pay them with a cashier's check. Upon pickup morning, one of the movers looked around my apartment and instantly said I'd have to pay at least $600 more than my second payment installment quote ($1242) because they'll need to wrap my furniture pieces in blankets... I have moved sever

Super helpful in regards to my move. They were punctual with the pick up and delivery as discussed with the moving coordinator . I couldn't be happier with my choice. Will be using them for all future moves!

Be very aware with this company, as you will probably NEVER get your belongings back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They farm out their delivery to a company named East Freight Logistics, another fraud company. I have been waiting for my belongings, and all they ever say is "we're working on it. You should see the warehouse in Salem, Oregon, where everything is in a huge pile .. The worst experience ever, and there are several other movers that do the exact same thing ...

American elite is a **** broker that sends professionals through the roof .... In August I contracted through this company and was quotes **** near 2500 I paid the first half to have it delivered.....it was to be delivered in sept. it is now November and I haven't seen my things .... on top of that they have contracted me to a company that say they weren't even paid. they took my belongings from south jersey to north jersey without payment and said they were to call us for deposit ....... and threatening to auction off my belongings when we were contracted to pay half now and the other half upon delivery ...... im getting into arguments with them over the fact that they have had my belongings for over a 2 months sitting in their dirty warehouse instead of thew storage unit it was at... Now when I try calling them they dont pick up the phone........ I am telling you dont use this company they are complete fraud and will be in court sooner than they think

I hired this company to broker a move from Washington to Connecticut. They engaged a logistics company that lost all of their drivers with a CDL and left my belongings stranded in a warehouse somewhere in Oregon. The company so far is refusing to identify another carrier to obtain my things. The only option I have is to fly from CT to OR and pick up the items myself. As of yet, the broker is not offering a refund.

********. Please do not waste your precious time with these ********. They will make false promises and never fulfill their end of the deal.

TLDR, they are ******** and you will never see your money or your stuff.

Professionalism: they lack the basic greetings and will talk down to you. Condescending manner of speech. You'll hear children crying in the background. Now I'm all for working from home but crying children almost every other call while you're dealing with business is a bit too much.

Their employees won't give you their names because 'they don't give out names'. Every call is started with a greeting and introduction, but here they'll ask you for every single detailed information at your end and mostly fail to provide any on their end.

Reliability: They will never ever send the movers on the allotted date/time that was given to you. These ******** will keep giving you multiple different excuses on why the route was cancelled ONE day before your move, or how the prior person had two truck worth of stuff instead of one so they gave them your truck space.
I've personally had my move cancelled 3 times. Last two times was mere hours before the move. I even got 'we made a few mistakes on booking trucks so your truck is cancelled', this was by their so called dispatcher. Booking trucks and movers is literally their job, if they can't handle the volume, either take up less customers, don't give false promises, or hire more employees; I.E. don't make customers suffer for your so called mistakes.

Accountability: you will never see your money. I've cancelled my move and asked for a refund. That was over two weeks ago. I'm still waiting. The excuse I got was 'our bank account got frozen because we made a few mistakes'. How can a company this size make so many errors in banking that their bank Account gets frozen for over two weeks. If you were to use an excuse,should've used a more palatable one.

I've got names and details of every single employee interaction, customers are encouraged to get in touch with me to get those names and definitely avoid this moving company.

This company is beyond unprofessional.

I spoke with a ****** ******** who was very rude and rushed me off the phone when I explained I was not ready to make a payment (I just began searching for a moving company).

I still called back to get the quote I was promised and received a call back from **** ******** who sounded extremely drunk and what sounded like at a bar in the background (I couldn't believe how intoxicated this man was sounding) and was screaming at me to "stop wasting his time after hours and told me to **** *** **********

I do not typically review businesses often but felt compelled to leave a review on this company warning people how awful my experience went (I am still utterly in disbelief).

If this is how this company speaks to prospective customers I can't imagine how horrible they treat customers items.

I will take my business elsewhere.
