I hired and signed a contract with this company in February of 2023. I didn't realize that they are apparently only a Moving Broker and not actually a Moving Company. They farmed me out to another company. When my things finally did arrive, later than the 30 days allowed by law, I was missing 4 boxes, had 5 boxes that were broken open and had a box from another person. I complained to both Relocation Nation and the other company. It got me absolutely nowhere but run around the proverbial block. I filled out the claim form and was told that it was not there responsibility as they did not move my things. Well after messing around for a year with both companies I took them both to Small Claims Court. The hearing was today. Neither company showed up. The judge looked at all of my evidence and told me that because I signed contracts with both companies that both were responsible for the loss of $3700 + worth of art supplies and over the second company was responsible for the overcharge for space. He gave me a judgement for the loss and said both companies would be notified and that they had 30 days to pay me for my loss.My advice is to do what I did if you are moving. 1) Make a detailed list of what is in each box that you are shipping. 2) Put the size of each box next to the contents list. 3) list all other items and their measurements. 4) Take pictures. There is as website that will help you figure the cubic feet of space you are going to use so you can figure out if they are overcharging you for space. Relocation Nation kept telling me I still had space on the 275 Cu Ft of space I purchased but the other company said i had used more. Actually I used less than the 275 Cu Ft that I purchased as I didn't move any furniture only boxes and a ******************** bed that broke down into its components. Personally I would tell you if you are looking to move to to stay away from Relocation Nation based in ******* they ****.
