      One star is to much!!! Lakeland Electric advertised a rebate on energy efficient appliances. When you submit your application for the rebate Andrea Scott and her Supervisor Nick ( wouldn't give last name) refuse to honor the advertised rebate. Mike ******* General Manger thinks he is to good to speak to a senior citizen customer!!! You would think that Lakeland Electric would have HONOR unfortunately it seems like they don't. Customers beware of advertised rebates.

      *********************** Please read my ****** review for the long version. In short, Lakeland electric sent a tech out to my house two days in a row to cut my power when I’m not even behind on a bill from them not last month not this month and the month before that I have not been late, but something in their system triggered to cut off my power, I work from home and need the Internet and electricity to do my job so they are threatening me being able to earn income. Their system their automatic payment system messed up trying to charge me double so I canceled the incorrect amount but because of canceling and incorrect amount after calling and checking that I wasn’t going to be charged an incorrect amount I am at fault is what Lakeland electric states so I have to pay a fee but then they still have to try to come turn my power off when I’m not even having to pay that fee until next bill cycle, so what the **** Lakeland electric.

      This company is the worst company that existed especially Paul the rudest customer service rep I ever encountered they turned off my power over a bill from December it is now May didn’t send the notice until Friday and cut power off Monday I don’t even have the notice and it is not on my bill he goes we can’t help you and ended the call unprofessional and horrible customer service!!!!!!

      Horrible Customer Service Dept. When they are wrong or do mistakes they dont own up to it! I had this one rep named Keela, she hung up on me because I asked for a Supervisor. I hope she is fired once her supervisor listens to her call. Nasty Nasty Nasty!! Disgusted.

      Customer service associates are more interested in being combative & argumentative than performing their actual job. They are rude and unprofessional. I have never had a good experience with this company or anyone in their customer service department. They are not trained to de-escalate situations, they match the energy and frustration of the customer which is ridiculous, especially when Lakeland Electric is in the wrong. They do not allow you to escalate to a supervisor, they just hang up on you. If you interrupt them while speaking, they hang up on you. If you express any frustration, they hang up on you. The whole department is trash, whomever trained the department is garbage. I have worked in customer service over 20 years & never experienced worst customer service. I have had Lakeland electric for over 20 yrs, never ever had a pleasant experience with their "customer service" department.

      This electricity company shuts off the power for 3 week late bill If there's not already there should be a law prohibiting this and somehow putting a notice on the door Calling and email is not enough Certified mail would be nice

      Terrible attitude 2 customer service on phone ceo Joel **** office doesn't care csm mgr quote sir I could care less what happens to make people angry they do nothing to correct problems they've caused , very bad attitudes
