A coworker referred me to Desire, the owner of DHBonner Virtual Solution LLC so I assumed that her company would be reputable and provide great customer service but that was not my experience. On July 28, 2023, I signed a contract with her for $2500 to complete a Childrens Book project. This price was based on various services and products for publishing a book including 24 pages of illustrations and email and phone support. During the working relationship, Desire and her team were unable to fulfill illustrations that met my vision for the desired project. Eventually, she suggested I go out and find my own illustrator. Initially, I was frustrated but on August 17, 2023, I obliged and decided to communicate with an illustrator directly and we renegotiated the terms of the contract based on me sourcing my own illustrator which would decrease my pricing to $1500. However, the contract was never updated until I contacted her again once my illustrations were nearing completion on Jan 17, ****. I made several attempts to schedule a virtual meeting or phone support but all were denied by Desire. After several attempts and not seeing eye to eye on this project, I request a refund on my deposit of $625 due to her not completing ANY of the services that I was paying for in the initial contract. At this point, ****** has refused my request for a refund knowing that she has not done anything up to this point on my project and her customer service has been lackluster at best. I am very disappointed with my overall experience and do not recommend her services at all! Buyer Beware!
