Rip off prices. The Ice Cream Isle had nothing but $6.99 for all ice-cream because it's hot out. We went to Target and got Ice Cream for $3.49. Because it's hot out Publix thinks it can just take advantage of people that are hot. We did not see any ice cream missing nobody is buying it. Good. I shopped at the Publix ************************************************************************************************. I stood in line for quite some time with only one person working the sandwich line and one customer in front of me. A second ****************** had looked at me and eventually came over, then proceeded to make a sandwich for a to-go order without even acknowledging me. Everyone was served but me. I couldn't believe the disrespect, so I walked off. I had to waste time not only filing a complain with the corporate customer service but also get a sandwich from another nearby deli. This easily made me eat an hour of my time, which I rarely have extra time. I felt like I wasn't seen and didn't matter to Publix. The assistant store manager called me today. She apologized for the issue and said (just like the Deli Manager) that she would speak to the deli employees. She blamed the issue on lack of staffing. However, this makes no sense as there were at least 4 or 5 employees working the front of the deli, and only as many customers during that time. I have no confidence from her response that she intends to truly fix anything, nor do I think she made a good faith effort to address my concerns or make things right. I will be contacting the community relations manager for Alabama to try to escalate this so it doesn't happen to other customers who might not be willing to stand up for themselves.Publix Super Markets Corporate Office Response

We forwarded his concerns to our District Manager who replied with the following on 6/6/2024: "I have spoken with ************ and apologized for the inconvenience that we caused him. I assured him that we had taken his concern seriously and that I had been by the store to personally follow up with our Assistant Store Manager regarding his concerns. I offered him a gift card that he can pick up the next time he is in the store for the ordeal he has been through. To whom it may concern: First complain in written from this store. My daughter bought to me a beautiful "dozen" of roses for Mother's Day. When I put them in a glass vase and organized them I notice two stems without roses. I counted them, 10 roses and two empty stems. Really??? How come? That is not nice. The ************************************************* is the WORST. I went to the store today for 1 item. They only had 2 check out aisles opened and one being 10 items or less, both aisles had 8-10 customers waiting. I went over to the customer service desk as you can normally check out there. There was one gentlemen at the counter ahead of me. The customer service clerk proceeded to tell me to go get in one of the open aisles as it might be faster. I explained to her that both aisles had 8-10 people in line and the only person in front of me at the counter you were waiting on. She was insistent that i go to one of the other aisles. SO i looked at her and placed my item on the counter and left the store.This has got to be on of the WORST stores owned by Publix. In the last year and a half i have had to return at least 15 items as they were either bad or out of date. I bought a bag or tortilla chips brought them home opened one, bit it had to spit it out it was so stale. I looked at the expiration date and it had expired 6 MONTHS PREVIOUSLY.Some one needs to get a handle on this store. I know so many people who refuse to shop at this location because of all the bad and expired foods.Publix Super Markets Corporate Office Response

Your Publix application to give patrons access to clip coupons is disgraceful, torturous. All the information extracted & in the end did not validate it. I rather buy elsewhere where they honor their coupons without having all your information. Either you give it or not but don't misrepresent it.Publix Super Markets Corporate Office Response

I live in celebration and go to Publix at least five times a week recently I was at the Loop getting my dog groomed and I had a couple hours to kill so I went to Publix to get a sandwich at the deli the employee that helped me her name was ******* was so amazing that when I left I knew I had to write a review about her. She was not only extremely professional, but she was friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and just all around wonderful. In comparison to the other employees around her she stood out and shined. I can't tell you what an impression this employee left on me. Publix should be so grateful to have an employee such as ******* you need a hundred more just like her. Ehh I give em a 3 there usually very helpful when I go but most workers dont wanna help look for items when I ask it looks like Im being an inconvenience to them and they will say ooo we dont have have item as if they can know all the items in stock and out of probably 1000s of items but when I ask another worker they magically have it ?????? usually the ones on ******************* and the one in *********** and on 192 I literally had a store where the workers literally speed walked to the back so I couldnt ask them a question one guy stopped out of the group but the other 2 ran ti the back laughing ??????Idkk if you dont wanna be helpful why work where you have tooPublix Super Markets Corporate Office Response

Went to buy some Passover goods and Publix had 10 items on the shelf for the second night. Gefilte fish matzo ball mix., and candles, which we dont even use for this holiday. You need to get some Jewish people on your staff. Who can explain to you the things that we eat for Passover and other Jewish holidays. In addition, you have no wedding cards, funeral cards, or bar mitzvah cards for Jewish celebrations. Whats up with that? You dont need our money?Publix Super Markets Corporate Office Response

Yesterday I went to the publix in ******** I believe its called Keelyn Square **** is the manager. That was the BEST publix I've gone to everyone was soooooo helpful. Kind and genuine.
