Company installed gutters. However, the gutters were installed incorrectly at the front of my house by entry door. The gutters were not installed to the ends of roof leaving a gap and there is also gaps by the ends behind the gutters on the right and left sides of entry door. Water is getting under fascia and soffit on one side and on the other side they left the roof exposed and I see insulation under the gutter uncovered. Water still pours onto my front patio. I have sent multiple texts and calls and tried to get on repair schedule. The company has been giving my the run around for 4 months. I spoke with Jeff the owner who tells me to fill out some text form twice which has led to nowhere. I spoke with Tyler who apologized and said he was putting my on a priority list and that I would get a call the next day to schedule, but he would not take my telephone number stating it was in there system and I never heard back from the company. This is my last attempt to get the issue resolved.Business response

We contacted our client immediately upon receipt of this document, and sent a team to his house on Wednesday, May 4th, 2022 to resolve this issues. We spoke with our client, after the installation teams visit and he was happy that we were able to finally resolve the challenges. We welcome him to contact us immediately if he need additional assistance in the future. I signed a contract to have Crown Rain Gutters install new seamless gutters on my home. My first quote was $1450 but due to insurance delays with the install of our roof, we had to postpone the job. I called crown rain gutters back after we completed the roof, and asked for an updated quote and to update it since i had some concerns with downspouts in the front of the property. At that time I was advised that Richard no longer worked with the company and that Jeff was the new owner she he would be taking care of me. I spoke to Jeff on several occasions regarding the insulation and what I needed to do to divert water away from my foundation. We discussed the down spouts and per his recommendation we added larger downspouts since the runs were longer and because I have a steep roof. He provided me with an updated quote for $1888. Date was set up but his crew never came, we rescheduled for another day. The day that they arrived they had issues with the vehicle and did not have the proper material with them so they rescheduled once again since Jeff forgot to tell they I required larger down spouts. 2 days I had rearranged my schedule and no work completed. When they come out they came out when I was not home, when I arrived home later that day I found my skylight framing had been moved and was laying on the ground in front of my car which had a dent on the corner of my fender. I advised Jeff and he said we would figure it out. I had to call him back out after the install as there were several issues that he needed to address due to bad workmanship from his team. He wanted payment and agreed to complete the job once I paid. I have written text from him agreeing to $1700 as final payment to account for the damage to my car. After, I called him about completing he then changed his story and said I still owe him the difference and that he's not responsible for the damage to my vehicle.Business response

We faced a number of challenges with his seamless gutter installation from insurance delays, Covid, unpredictable weather delays to material supply chain issues. Once we agreed to the job parameters, which included larger downspouts, Crown scheduled the installation. We were certainly disappointed to hear that post-installation,******* noticed a dent in his car and believed it was caused by one of our team members. After discussing with our team, we determined the damage to*******'s car was not caused by our team. We suggested that he contact his insurance company. We were still committed to making sure*******'s gutter installation was completed to his satisfaction. The installation required several site visits and was completed between November 10, 2021 - January 3, 2022. On January 3, 2022 during our final visit,******* requested additional downspout extensions. These extensions were additional work that was not included in the original price estimate. We agreed to the additional work, if******* promptly paid the outstanding $2,000 invoice. As of today, February 23, 2022, that remains unpaid in full. We look forward to resolving this challenge soon upon closing out the remaining balance.
