I hired this Company to put a new Aluminum Roof on my house on 4-4-2017 since the beginning I've had a leak, I had trouble getting the company to come out and repair the leak, they sent the same repair man out a number of times and did not fix the problem. Over the last couple of years I've made numerous calls trying to get this leak repaired, the company never returns calls.. I paid 10:000$ for this roof with a lifetime warranty, I'm 83 years old and don't know where to turn to for help! If you can be of help I would greatly appreciated it.thank you so much **************

Business Response /* (1000, 12, 2022/11/11) */ MS ******** IS CORRECT, WE HAVE HAD SOMEONE GO OUT THERE A FEW TIMES TO REPAIR IT. AND WE ARE SENDING SOMEONE OUT THERE TODAY TO DO THE SAME. OUR CONCERN IS THAT THIS IS MORE THAN LIKELY HURRICANE DAMAGE FROM THE SEPTEMBER 2017 STORM. BUT IN GOOD FAITH WE ARE TAKING ANOTHER LOOK AT IT, WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY COMPLAINTS FROM MS ******** RECENTLY BEFORE THIS YEAR'S HURRICANE, SO IT HAS TAKEN US A LITTLE BIT OF TIME TO GET BACK OUT THERE. HOPEFULLY WE CAN GET THIS FIXED TODAY 11/11/2022. THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING US TO RESPOND. I believe that this was an intentional bait and switch. The company provided me with a contract and took my deposit. The following day the company increased the price by 2,000.00. They provided minimal explanation other than the sales agent did not price the project correctly.

Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2022/09/13) */ WE APOLOGIZE TO MR. *********** FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. HIS DOWN PAYMENT WAS NEVER CASHED BY GRAHAM ALUMINUM. THE SALESMAN NEVER BROUGHT IT TO OUR OFFICE. BOB, THE SALES REP, RETURNED THE CHECK TO MR ***********. ON OUR CONTRACTS IT STATES THAT A CORPORATE OFFICER HAS TO SIGN OFF ON EACH CONTRACT FOR IT TO BE VALID. WHEN WE LOOKED AT THE CONTRACT FOR THIS JOB, WE KNEW RIGHT AWAY ERRORS ON PRICING WAS MADE. AGAIN, OUR APOLOGIES TO THE ***********S. THANK YOU FOR LETTING GRAHAM ALUMINUM RESPOND Consumer Response /* (2000, 11, 2022/09/13) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) See Attached Letter: On Feb 2, 2022, I contracted with Graham Aluminum & Home Improvements, 3632 US Hwy 92E, Lakeland, FL 33801 Tele 863-668-8816. They were to pour a 12' X 12' concrete slab with a slope on one end so we could drive our golf carts onto it. Secondly, they were to install a metal roof with eaves over the slab. Lastly, they were to cut a hold in the front of my mobile and install a 60" X40" vinyl, double paned window. For this I was to pay them a total of $13,500. $4,500 due on date of contract, $4,500 clue on completion of the roof, and the nal $4,500 on completion of the job. On or about /Mar 12 the slab was poured by a sub~contractor. As workmenwere smoothingathe concrete, I noticed there was no slope. I asked the foreman where our slope was. He replied he didn't know there was supposed to be a slope. l went to look at the permit paperwork and the plans submitted to the Building Inspection Office. There was no slope indicated in the plans. l went back out to tell the foreman that it was not his fault and found that the workers had removed the forms on one end and pulled the concrete into a slope. It looked good but was not strong as proven the next week when the roofers arrived to install the roof. Apparently one of them stepped on a corner and that was the beginning of all the cracks that are now on the sloping end (the additional ones made by my family parking the golf carts). The Building Inspector came out to check the progress done to that point. He did not approve the work because of the cracking concrete and because the roofers didn't install enough screws to the roong panels. This is how the project stands to date...aImost 6 months out. Numerous calls the Graham ofce have not produced any results...only promises. The last of April I was out of town. My daughter called and said the concrete contractor was out and promised to retum the next day to x the concrete problems...he's been a no-show since. I've called to ask about these problems and the promised window installation several times and was told the window had been ordered and they were waiting delivery and the other problems would be taken care of. In May I went to the Lakeland Building inspection Division to nd out if they had done a second inspection. None done. l also asked them if plans had been submitted to them for the window installation since l didn't see them in my paperwork. Again, the answer was "no". Also, since it was not a simple "in and out...new hole, not replacement, Graham's needed to submit an engineered drawing. The last contact l had with Graham's was on Jul 11. Michael from that company called to tell me my window had arrived but was black, not white so they were returning it to the manufacturer. i spoke to him about all these issues I've had with the company. He said he'd nd out what was happening and get back to me. He did call back...promised someone would be out the next day to correct the wrongs. No one showed, l'm STILL waiting. l paid the $9,000 increments when they were due and I am totally frustrated. When I was at the permitting ofce, they suggested I write to you about all these issues. Can you help? *************,****************************************************** 75-yr Old woman living withmy high -functioning but special needs daughter and granddaughter I went onto your website and led a complaint as directed by writing a review but there was not enough room for me to include all my rants, thus this written correspondence. Business Response /* (1000, 12, 2022/08/25) */ Hello. First of all, we would like to say that we are very grateful to have Ms. ******* as a customer. We apologize for any inconveniences along the way. We have attended to all her complaints as of today except her window. That new window arrived this week and we will be going out there today or tomorrow to install it. The window really held everything up as it was ordered months ago. We feel Ms. ******* will be satisfied with everything once the window is installed. Thank you for letting Graham Aluminum respond.

I had this company install all my windows and a French door. One of the windows is missing the trim. The French door was a disaster. I had a perfectly working doo, but we wanted a door with blinds. We had them install it. It was grown from the beginning. One of the door does not open (the latch is broken). The frame from the blinds are bulging. It was installed without removing the old concrete from the bottom. Now it leaks debris/water from bottom. I cannot even lock the door without slamming it. I asked them to replace this door. I do not wanted fixed and they refused. Now I have a leaking French door.

ON August of 2020 Graham Aluminum installed o new patio roof on the back of the house by the pool. I was assured that upon completion I would not experience and water leaks. The roof has leaked for two years now. They have sent various people out to repair it several times and the leak remains. The last contact with someone was two weeks ago. I was assured the problem would be checked out "again". I have heard nothing else since then.
