      To whom it may concern:

In regards to the complaint from ***************************. We are scheduled to do the steps on this coming Monday December 18th. They will be completed on this day. ******************************* is an independent contractor and not an employee of Georgia Floors Direct. ******************************* and *************************** spoke directly about the steps. At the time of the measure I told ******************************* I wanted no part in these steps. It's a service we do not provide but it was one ****** said he could complete. I promised to provide a 12x10' piece of carpet to complete the job. He had the carpets bound to one size and started to install them when he found out they were supposed to be a different size. This then became a he said one size and he said another size leaving Georgia Floors Direct in the middle. We will do anything possible to make a customer happy so I promised yet again to give a 12x10' piece of carpet so they could be bound again. The carpets have been cut, they are currently at the binding lady's waiting to get bound (they will be completed before Monday). ******************************* has not collected on the step work. Once completed and to ********************** satisfaction he will collect the balance owed to him.

I attached a copy of the receipt we provide every customer (Including ***************************) that states ******* Floors Direct is not responsible for the labor and the customer works with the installer. Also states we do not accept  money for the labor and it's paid directly to the contractor once the job is completed to the customers satisfaction.

As far as getting lawyers involved I am not sure that is necessary nor is Georgia Floors Direct liable. I/we have done everything as a company we said we would do and more. I have provided a 2 pieces of carpet both at 12x10 to make this situation better. Once again the steps will be completed on Monday the 18th a date that ******************************* and *************************** both agreed too.

Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions or concerns.

******************************* showed up late and once again the steps are not complete because his measurements were too big for the stairs, he says he will try to finish the stairs between Thursday and Saturday of this week, this contractor is a regular person used by this store and this store knew of this situation for 9 months going and still continued to give him work even though the stairs where not done, and they assured me the stairs could be done from the very beginning, because we canceled with another company to let them do them back in January. They need to be accountable for these to be completed!

Had a long conversation with ******* today and he assured me ******************************* would be getting it done, ****** confirmed for Friday morning first stop. I told **************** would let him know if he doesnt show up.  And will send pictures of the completed work, since when he showed up Monday the carpet was cut wrong again.

I am rejecting this response because:

I am writing this in response of the rejection letter I just received today. The steps have been completed and our finished. Yes these steps took way to long to complete. Yes there was a lot of back and forth that slowed this process down (from canceling the steps in the beginning to the size of the steps being made one size per the installer and the customer saying that's not what they agreed upon, to the binding needed to be done for the third time. I do agree these should've been done a long time ago! However they are complete as of today. The installer is still waiting for the rest of his money to be paid by the customer. That again as an independent contractor will be between *************************** and *******************************. I did everything I said I would do including giving 12x26 worth of carpet to get this job completed. *************************** reached out to me after the installer left and told me he was happy and that he let the BBB we completed the work. Please let me know the next steps.
