    Had a Plenum and drain line replaced for 800 dollars after issues with the old one leaking and causing water to build up. After many frustrating conversations and failed visits with Accutemp, I'm left with a huge mess. A Plenum that has failed after only a year, and a drain line that has dips and slopes and isn't pitched right. Doesn't even work fyi. Oh how do I know that? Well it cost me 300 dollars to have another company to diagnose the issue. I had the owner and Andrew from Accutemp at my house within 3 days of each other. Either of those two saw that the box and line they installed were faulty and no good. I'm now going to have to shell out the money again, for it to be redone with a new company. It's heartbreaking. I'm disabled and don't have the disposable income for this. I understand issues arise. But the owner stood me up once and we were made to feel like we were the issue and not their work.

    We replaced 4' of the supply air plenum in the attic on 6/15/21. At that time we also sealed ductwork with tape and mastic and replaced 8 ft. of the drain line in the attic. On that invoice #*******, The recommendation was to replace the existing duct system due to a high static condition and the general condition of the ductwork.

    We received a request for service 8 months later on 2/18/22. We added a trap at the termination of the drain line outside the house. There was no charge. It would appear that the system had been working properly for 8 months.
    We returned 3 days later, 2/21/22 and installed a trap at the air handler in the attic. There was no charge.

    We were not aware that there was still a problem after our last service call.

    If given the opportunity we would have worked on solving the problem. As noted we had not charged for the 2 previous service calls.
    I'm sure we could have performed the service for less than the $300.00 she paid.

    I am sorry that we were not given that opportunity and that the problem had continued.
    Since 1984 here in Lakeland we have been focused on providing a high level of professional service for our customers.

    I wasn't charged for 2 service calls because the first one I had paid for you service plan. I was owed a second cleaning. The owner Jim didn't do the cleaning and left after 20 min. That is why I wasn't charged for the 2nd one when Andrew showed up. Because you were supposed to be doing what I paid for in Feb. Your being very dishonest and I stick to my original review. You were very much aware of the issue and blew us off. He installed the trap because the line you "installed" was actually an original line... not a new one. You need to be more forthcoming with upfront info. Total lies. You weren't aware of the issue continuing because I had Givin up dealing with people that didn't want to honor their work. I'm not going to respond to anymore . Again. I stick to my original review and opinion of this company.

    You state 2 of your people were here close to each other, why didn't they see the issues? Why didn't they see the detached Plenum? Why didn't Andrew replace the drainage line after he said it was no good due to pitching and dips? He told us he put a support on the pipe to try and increase the output. You make it sound like you are being generous not charging me a service fee. I had your service plan. I was owed a cleaning still! Also I have an email from Mr *****, a previous employee of yours stating I was getting 8 foot of new drain line, I never got that, it was just connected to a old crusty line. I called many times to complain. Vicky dealt with me mostly, and was also given a piece of tube by your repair guy to help suck out the pan, because I was having trouble reaching it. But yall saw nothing wrong, right? Why would I need something to help clean a well draining pan? You say you could have done better than 300$, no not really, considering the outcome and the extra money to fix your work correctly. You didn't have to pay the 350 to 400 dollar electric bills for 8 months. You have no idea what my side of the issue has been like. You barely helped. And that pipe addition, did absolutely nothing. It actually caused it to back up and not drain more. I just want to move on at this point. That's why I don't like making negative reviews, because of the dishonesty you must deal with when someone says they did something to help, when they didn't. You made it worse. Sorry, but you need to be held accountable.

    Honestly, we perform hundreds of service calls every year. It seems like we get one, maybe two of these a year.
